Sharkport or Xport

The title says it all which one do i want for making hybrids?

They are the same. You will most likely not find sharkport in stores, as it is the older model. And some of the older sharkports will not work with some of the newer model PS2's. But aside from that they are identical. Datel just had to change the name after selling the Gameshark name to Madcatz, hence the Gameshark 2 and the Action Replay 2 being identical devices with a different name as well.

Code Breaker (Pelican) And a fresh newly found cheating system which im sure is something Chaos has shown me already is Code Majic. The two are on totaly different encryptions. But you see Chaos has warped me, i was a long time user of mad katz products until he showed me the codebreaker page.

Ok Code Breaker: Cheaper, More Reliable, and you dont have to get a new system every year because they change the encryption on the codes.


Edit: CHAOS! MY X-PORT WONT WORK ANYMORE! Its the disc, it says please insert a ps or ps2 disc. I heard somewhere in here that you can use the AR disc to start up the X-port, Is this true? Because i really want characters on a game and i found a gamesave with them unlocked with weapons.

I cant find an Xport in stores, i found walmart has it but that was online im not sure if its in the store, and i dont really like walmart....but i mean i went to an EB and they didnt even know what i was talking about

yeah, thats what im thinkin. I might try Gamestop, there are 2 around here ne of them prolly has one, they usually are pretty good with having what im looking for. and if i ask and they dont they usually have it in a day or two.

To fix that call or email Datel, and tell them you have a new PS2 model SCPH-50001 and can't get your xport to work now.

Datel's reply to the questions posed:

Datel Reply: Call our support line (727)431-0650, or email support@dateldesign.com. A new Xport disc will be mailed out to you free of charge. The discs work perfectly on the new PS2 version. You must have the old Xport hardware though, so keep that handy.

For the record the new version X-ports do work with the newer PS2's.
