sharkport trouble

help i tried to reinstall but the program wouldn't come up wtf did i do wrong

When you insert the cd does it not come up on the screen right away? If it doesn't, just go to "my computer" and click on the drive the cd is in.

Are you making sure that the program is completely un-installed before you try to re-install it? You can go into the control pannelle and un-install if from there, mind you it might mess with the hard-drive.

when it was installed i didn't find any icons of the sharkport

My X-port did the same thing. The program installed but it didn't make any shortcuts on the system. You can go into your programs folder and find the actual program and make a shorcut from there. I don't know what the name of the folder for the skarport is but the X-port folder is labled Datel and the program itself is named Xport2. Hope that helps.
