Has anyone read the write up on the '04 Holden Commodore? Unless I'm mis-reading it...which I might be...it says:

"This Commodore SS even set the record in the highway touring race around Australia, covering the 9.3 miles distance in just six and a half days."

LMAO! 6.5 days to cover 9.3 miles? You might wanna get your car looked at....I'm just sayin'

You might want to do research instead of taking what the game says for the truth especially when it's a known fact that quite a few descriptions are incorrect.

Whatever you were trying to accomplish by this thread.......well it failed.....miserably

Unless it was all just supposed to be a joke.....then I apologize :)

ive noticed alot of errors in car discriptions. I guess proof reading wasnt on their to do list.

seen at least 10 different typing errors, most with the NASCAR discriptions

I guess it wasn't on your list either.

Mine says covering the 15,000 km distance is 6 and a half days. Got a pic of this 9.3 miles?

See, that's why you go with Ford. AM I RIGHT?

/flamesuit :p

...Dunno where you're getting your joke material from. Holden's are great, they're not Alfa Romeos. Lol.

Sorry mate, fellow Australian here and Commodores are total loads of garbage.

Anything VZ or previous to that is a absolute joke. I've driven a VE Calais and thought it was quite a decent car but all the older model Commodores I've driven have been really crap. Granted I've only driven V6 models, but the steering and chassis feel is really terrible.

The reliability of a lot of core components such as engine, gearbox, etc are actually quite rock solid but build quality of other bits of trim are quite poor. I've had many mates with VTs have electric windows totally jam on them not to mention rattling trim, etc.👎

Sorry to ruffle ya feathers!

I wonder if anyone from the UK could have a look at this car's description. I suspect a localization issue. In Europe, at least, 9.300 is what we in North America would write is 9,300. Conversely, 9,300 in Europe translates to 9.300 in North America. If Japan follows the same rule as Europe, then we're talking about 9300 miles (15,000 KM * .62 to get Miles).

If the UK follows the same localization rules as most of Europe, then it will probably appear correctly there. If so, I guess it's not an error in the description so much as the localization rules.

In what world?

In the world where people remark about things that are remarkable?

If a species of giant sharks with legs was discovered is would probably be really bad for us (they could walk on land and kill us all) it would still be remarkable though. Remarkable doesn't only refer to something that is positive, it can be negative as well.

We tend to use , instead of a .

This is the UK Edition....and it clearly says 9.3 miles....not 9.300 miles. There is a big difference. Considering that I'm living in the UK right now...playing in the UK right now....On a UK PS3.....yeah...it's not a localization issue. It's a glaring F-up by the translator/creator.

I blame the Translator Guy.

They list the Mini 1.3i as being 1271cc when in fact it's 1275cc

Yeeeeah... In Denmark, we like to call things like this: "Flueknepperi"...

Basically meaning bangin' a fly i.e. making something out of essentially nothing..
I guess nobody needed to know this... Oh well, now you know..

 Greetings from Denmark!👍
