Its possible somethings fried. Thats what happen to my PS1, I turned it on and off too much, too quick and it fried something. Is that possible?
 
It still works, I just gotta reset it a couple times before it starts up. I guess I could try and get Sony to fix it for free, but I'd rather buy the PSX when it comes out.
 
Hm. I have no clue then..but a DVD burner would be a nice addition..But I was just wondering, kind of off-topic, but is any as pathetic as I am? Sitting at the computer, wating for the MSN box to box up saying I've got an Email form the GTP informer..then I hop over to the boards, press F5 and wait for the thing to refresh and scramble to see the new post? :lol:

ok hi i'm new but anyway, the psx price is gonna be around the 1000$ price range. it has a built in ps2, tvio like recording thing and can burn dvds of whatever you record.(i think theres a 40 gb hardrive or 120)!umm i have some more info but i'll have to get back to you on that.
 
will the psx have anothe HD like the xbox so we can store games
 
no i live VA. I saw that price in psm mag i think. It was an estimate!But it will be most likely cause my sony dvd burner was around 270- 340 and the ps2 will have to be modded to fit inside so thats like 300 and the tivi/capture card will be like 100 and hardrive may be 120 gb! i know thats not 1000 exactly but its just a guess.
 
for battle stage try flipping your PS2 upside down before you turn it on (that usedto happen to my friend and when he did this it worked... i think they say the laser got weak)

some may think that i am joking but its true.
 
i've had my ps2 for 3 years also, and mine still runs likea beaut, try to stick a vacuum hose on the open areas to suck out all the dust inside. that might w0rk. no need to spend another 200 bucks for another console.
