Shifter Karts!

I don't know how every one else feels about the kart racing events, but I quite like them and I was thinking earlier how cool it would be if there was at least one other kind of kart in the game and it preferably be a shifter kart. I used to own one of them when I was a teenager and let me tell you they are INSANELY QUICK! Now, of course they aren't a Bugatti Veyron or anything, or even an Atom or something. But when you are accelerating from 20-100 in a matter of seconds in a kart that is an inch off the ground, you feel like your'e driving an damn F1 car (slight hyperboly, but you get the idea)... I just think shifter karts would be that much more enjoyable than the single gear ones.
 
I love the carts because its pure racing. When I do them online I don't have to worry about someone having a way faster car than me or using softer tires or having more assists on. I love how it's such an even playing field. Might I also suggest if you aren't using a wheel, go buy one. Karts with a wheel are AMAZING!
 
Easist would be to allow transmission upgrades available to the current karts and make 'no transmission mods' a requrement in any kart race where it wasn't intended.
 
I would love to see shifter karts in there. or at least a gearbox adjustment to the karts already in there. I also wish there were four cycle karts and stuff and different body kits too.
 
How about an RM option to make it into a Superkart (you know the ones with streamlined bodywork). They have a shifter and the RM would mean they could be excluded from the other Karts (as RM's are classed as different cars).
