As the progression towards photo realistic continues, changes in graphics will become more and more subtle. The cars dont have far to go to be photo-real, but we may see 3d wheels. There isnt much else that needs upgrading...

Lighting and physics will continue to improve, but as it stands, the cars need no more polys to convince me that theyre real :)

GT1 had nicer menus than 2, the car dealers loaded quicker (all the menus did), the HUD was a much nicer orange. That, and tahiti road is just an eye sore. Talk about bad textures!

Yeah I dont think there will be much improvements as far as graphics go for a few years, but I think there will be a way for them to put more cars in the race, flip the cars, may be even some damage, and make it so it wont take up so much space.

I never got GT2... But I did have the Origional GT1.

Umm... what else can I say other than it totaly looks like a different game compared to GT3...

The only thing I do miss from it though was Racing Modification...

It was neat that you could turn your average or even crap car into a racing machine...

I did it with a Silvia and a Tureno... they looked pretty sharp... pity the graphics are so poor now that it looks mince.

But one thing we must remember... when GT and GT2 came out... the graphics and gameplay were state of the art stuff.

I remember playing Nigel Mansell World Championship Racing and thinking wow this is so much like F1. :P

I agree, GT4 will make a huge difference. I foresee them doubling the car and track count. Possibly even doubling the length of simulation mode. The graphics will probably only improve slightly, but there will be a noticable difference.
