Should everyone get the GT-R GT500 gift?

Hmm, we got a weeks delay on DLC, and Europeans got a load of preorder DLC cars that we didn't get, so yes, it is beyond fair that we get ONE of the many cars we couldn't access.

No, as the News article states:

"To celebrate the official conclusion of the North American GT Academy competition.."

So, the GT-R is tied to a North American competition. Now, if you meant the Stealth NSX that we are getting due to the delay, then you might have a minor gripe.

However, as has been posted around here ad nauseum lately, the Stealth or Chromeline cars were only a small part of getting the Signature or Collector's Edition. Most of the extra money went to pay for the cool diecast car, key chain, book, etc. The incessant crying about "exclusivity" this and "I paid an arm and a leg for those cars" that, is getting pretty old.

I have the Collector's Edition and the Chromelines that came with it, but if they were to be given away today, it wouldn't change a thing for me. 👍

Didn't everyone else get a GT Academy GTR when the European GT Academy was on? So now that ours is over, we get the stealth. Seems fair to me..

Only cars Europe got that we/NA could not get is:
-XJ13 Chromeline
-Special GT Academy GT-R EU
-all Stealth cars if they bought the Sig Edition

North/South America got two that are not available to Europe/Aus/Asia:
-Gamestop Toyota Nascar (preorder only)
-Edge Special 2010 Camaro SS

Japan/Asia got from what I was told:
free Stealth cars

Australia/NZ got:
___________ saving space because I do not know if they got anything.
- all Stealth cars if they bought the Sig Edition

Looks like Australia/NZ should complain..

That's right, unless we bought the signature edition, we got exactly nothing! Oh, yes, the XJ13 Chromeline code from the Facebook app did work on Australian accounts, I got mine, but that was it! Not a single free stealth for us!

Thanks for the info about the XJ13 because I was not sure. So if you really want Stealth cars you got to get them off ebay (they cost 40-50?) since you did not buy the Signature Edition that was available in your region. I would not pay $50 for the Stealth pack personally.

Nobody should get the GT500 stealth for free... it was a special edition or whatever promo... I dont have it and I think I should only have it if I had bought the promo.
I didnt get any special F1 stealth for getting F1 2011 a few days after the US did so whats the delay got to do with it? at least they now know that PS+ has now a discount on the DLC and the strange way the DLC works... they are better off than those that bought the DLC and can use it...

Uk got the dlc on time, the colectors edition with stealth cars and a mb wallet, the chromeline jaguar, so I think we on US are entitled to some gifts too.

I'm gonna say yes on this one. Even though they got all of the chromelines and other stealths, they were mostly for things like signature edition and the like. This is for a competetion that GT has been plugging for a while in all countries. I don't even get the channel it's on, but I can sit here and stare at my sexy new GTR (It is sexy). So yes, make it for all regions.

Because they are greedy. It doesn't matter if Europeans have more than an American, if an American happen to get something for free they should too! that's kind of how a European brain works ^^(I'm Scandinavian, politicly(imo) european)

Also, we didn't ask for the stealth car. We were just upset that we got it delayed. They (SCEA) made the decision to give us the cars. But thats just my two cents

Stealth Cars are so much better than the GTR Academy... We already have GT Academy GTR's and they're crap... 👎

but GTR stealth? that car in Motul team colours is already worth 950,000credits in the dealership... whereas the GTR V-spec it's cheap...

I think it's unfair to europeans as what has a Stealth Super GT500 car got to do with GT Academy? Americans should also get the GTR Academy car...

That's my view... And don't say "cuz we got the DLC before you"... you've waited 5 years for the game... a week of waiting for some extra suits and a prius race car wont make a difference...

As someone who did not start playing GT5 until February, I gave no thought to not having a stealth car. I rarely saw one online anyways. Perhaps PD should have given out a different car that was not part of a bonus or the collectors edition. Either way I'm happy of course cause the stealth GT500 is sweet and I'm sure the NSX next week will be as well.
