Player7996Yes. Especially with Forza 4 coming out soon.
I'd just wait for Forza 4 to come out.
Save your money until you have enough to buy a wheel also.
yes. you should also save up for a Fanatec 911 Turbo S/GT2 and Clubsport Pedals for your driving games(dont buy one with Standard Pedals because they seem to break easily).
Wow! You know, for a Gran Turismo oriented site, there sure are a lot of Xbox fanboys.
Also...Xbox Live isn't as reliable as people say it is. It's been around longer than PSN, so they've learned from their mistakes and it's a bit smoother when playing online, but...I seem to remember XBL going down quite a few times when I was playing. And what makes those down times even more painful is that if you have DLC attached to your game, you cannot play said game 'cause all the DLC content is stored online, whereas, with PSN, all your DLC content is stored on the HDD. Sure, it takes up HDD space (which XBL DLC content doesn't as much since most of the data is online), but when PSN is down, you can still drive all your DLC cars and play with all your DLC content. I'm sorry, but that is something they NEED to change with their next system. The original Xbox stored DLC info on the HDD...Apparently foresight at MS isn't 20/20, though. Like I said, yeah, it takes up a bit more HDD space, but when the online service goes down, it's nice to be able to actually play all of those games you spent your hard earned money on. You know that if what happened to PSN happened to XBL, there'd be an outrage 'cause no one would be able to play their games and essentially it would make the Xbox a giant paperweight.
But...as for which console to buy...take your pick. The Xbox is a good system, lot of great games. PSN is a good system with a lot of great games. The Xbox is a great system for FPS and the triggers also work well with driving games, but the analog sticks on the PS3 controller work well for driving games, as well, and the triggers are alright for FPS games.
So...I mean...Don't ask people here 'cause there are too many fanboys. Just do your research, and if you WANT to buy an Xbox, then do it.

Hmmm... Just a question, if I bought a game of XBL and then it went down, would I be able to play my DLed game? And I'm seriously tempted for the 360. I might wait till E3 though, since the 720 could be just around the corner...
No it's not, that's not for sure at all.The network is way more stable than the psn that's for dang sure.
Well, if your parents do let you purchase one, remember to buy the Left 4 Dead games. Those are great games that you can get really cheap now. You can always buy the lower capacity hardrive version and get just as much enjoyment out of it and it is probably a bit cheaper.
Don't.
Xbox has no games. All you get is multiplat which are avaliable on PC, PS3 waste of money. Rather buy more games instead of another console
Now aside from you post being blatantly inaccurate and your rather interesting grammar has you stating that the PS3 is a waste of money (quite an nice back-fire given I'm sure that was not your original intention), your post is borderline flame-bait.
We don't appreciate members who post with the sole intention of starting arguments, if you wish to contribute to this thread, then do so using well reasoned and factual arguments. Not inaccurate nonsense.
Scaff
You don't seem to have much knowledge about video games. Investing on 360 is a bad idea.
