Should I take the day off on 25th Nov?

I'll use a sick day the day after I actually physically pick up my pre-ordered GT5 Collectors Edition at the store.


That way I won't waste a vacation day if I use a day off on the 24th and there is a(nother) delay

Rumor has it that some game comes out. I'm not really sure what this "GT5" game is though, something about cars I've gathered.

Cheer up, I work a demanding job, 2 kids and a wife to upkeep, so unless you're Barrak Obama, relax, work hard, play harder. Reason why I ask this in the first place is because I don't have time to myself anymore. Can't remember the last time in 4 years that I've had a "daddy" day...

Sorry, I didnt mean to come across attacking you. I guess its all about priority. GT5, while its awesome and as much as I do want to play it, it isnt high enough for me to go through the effort trying to re arrange things to play it on launch date. Besides I have almost 3 weeks off over Christmas / new year, so I will probably end up playing it then. I remember when GTA SA and GTA IV came out... I didn't chuck a sickie but I rarely slept for 2 weeks

I don't actually know what I'm doing on GT Planet . I used to do WRS but now I seem to stay because I know the people for a long time and I enjoy reading the Opinions / Rumble strip forums. But as for a proper reason.. I will get back to you .

Anyway, take the day off and enjoy yourself and relax. My dad and brothers are coming down over Christmas with their dirtbikes and I re arranged my life around that so I get the maximum time off to go riding with them, for the same reasons you have stated your re arranging for GT5.

Not having children (boo-hoo) I dont have my feet planted as deeply on the ground as some, so yeah, I'll make something of an occasion of the 24th. But it can mean zero or it can mean more ..I choose to make it noteworthy. Should be good.

Of coarse you should. My vacation started today. I don't go back to work until Dec 1st. I tied in Thanksgiving, GT5 release and my unborn is expected anyday now.

I wont be taking time off work. Although I have more than 6 weeks of vacation banked up, I just cant justify taking time off work to go play a video game.
