Wrong show, dude... this is the Spectrum Is Green one. Although I suspect that for me to declare such an interest in the less popular CG remake of this programme, I'm probably on the spectrum.

Childrens' ITV butchered its release so hard, by splitting the episodes into two and airing as part of a Saturday morning kids' show it was clearly never intended for (to Gerry's chagrin), that it's no surprise it never made it to a third season.

It has a bunch of great bonus features, creator and cast commentaries, documentaries and cool posters which make me glad I supported Anderson Entertainment and preordered the set directly from them before it goes on general release on September 21st.

I think my account got hacked by Captain Black... Yeah, i remember the splitting in two of the episodes and the disaster that was.

Gerry was hoping that the new CGI Scarlet was just going to be the start of it and seemed to have plans for several other shows to follow. But the ITV scheduling killed those plans dead in the water.

Full disclosure I still prefer the '60s original though.

Yeah, most people do from what I understand. I would've loved to have seen a third season though as Ochre was just starting to come into her own and there were hints of good, pacifistic Mysterons seeking to bring an end to the conflict to add further complexity to the narrative.

Season 2's (or Series B's) "Gambit" (featuring Deep Roy) is still my favourite of the series as I'm a sucker for casino heist episodes (see also Knight Rider 2008 S01E08 "Knight Of The Zodiac" and Justice League S02E21-22 "Wild Cards") and it's largely a Vila/Avon double-hander, those two being the most entertaining members of the Liberator's crew for me.

Finally got this today! I started with Battlefront 1 on PS2 back in 2006, and my brother and I loved it. So much so that he went out and bought Battlefront 2 for the same system only months later, and it went on to be my all-time favorite shooter game- a title it still holds today- and is quite possibly the most played game we have. Of course, when we got a PSP years later, he got Star Wars Battlefront Renegade Squadron for it, probably because of all the fun we had with the console games. And I played Renegade Squadron a ton afterward, probably more so than the other PSP games we have, and to the point that it's become synonymous with the final months of my senior year in high school.

With all that said, it should come as no surprise as to why I wanted this game. It's actually been on my wanted list for many years now, probably since the aforementioned final months of my senior year, but I just recently decided to stop putting off on it and finally bought it. Got back into the PSP a while back, played Renegade Squadron once more, and lately I have been in a Battlefront mood, so it was about time Elite Squadron finally made its way here.

Already done a few quick tests to confirm the game works, and I'll probably play it tonight. Glad to finally have this game after wanting it for so long, and I am looking forward to seeing what it has in store since the previous games were a blast to play. Seeing how it's by the same devs that did Renegade Squadron, I am very optimistic about it.

I cancelled my game preorder when the subpar pro reviews came out but seeing a lot of positive reactions now from actual players. Will reorder it.

I bought this as an idea to motivate myself to try The Legend of Zelda games. Mainly since Nintendo announced a Remake of Ocarina of Time.

So, Metroid Ravenous got announced aswell and that motivated me to finally buy a copy of Dread from Gametop. I bought it online as a used game sale they had for it. So, it doesn't have the standard case. I'm thinking I'll go look for a proper case later.

I was already intending on getting this at some point though since I liked Prime Remastered. I was thinking of eventually buying a bunc of the other Metroid games.

I have this and I also have another disc which has the rest of the classic Zelda Games on and that’s a GameCube one too.

In fact I have a GameCube brand new still boxed upstairs. Was a Birthday present nearly 25 years ago now. I could do with and HDMI mod for it. Such a great console.

I’d love for developers to start making games for older consoles again. Imagine Witcher 3 on GameCube with the appropriate graphics.

Newer games on older consoles would be wild. Though I imagine the only devs that would do that would be indie ones.

Right, I might have bought more stuff.

I went to Books-A-Million and bought the 6th Harry Potter book. Which is how I learned that they were available with the packaging from the 2000s. Which was great as this can match the books I had from my childhood. I originally had a copy of "The Half Blood Prince" when I was a kid, but I lost it. I now have all of the books, though my copy of book 2 is one of the modern cover variants. So, I might in the future go buy myself a version of that with the 2000s cover art later to make things more consistent.

Also adding to my collection Tony Hawk's Underground 2 for PS2 and Cruis'N for the Wii. I decided a while ago that I want to have some of the Tony Hawk pro games I liked playing as a kid; I enjoyed playing this game at my cousin's house. I'll eventually get Underground 1 and the 1st 2 Pro Skater games. I mean, I have the remade Pro Skater games, but I want to have the originals aswell.

I really enjoyed Falling Down when I watched it years ago. Might pick up the 4k disc as well 👍

Well from the reviews it seems like a good job all round image and sound wise.

35mm negative scan to 4K and all grading etc at 4K.

Some grain but nothing huge and not over boosted in the brightness department like the previous 1080p versions.

They’ve also corrected the aspect ratio too, which is nice.

My copie has shipped so will arrive probably early next week. I’ll pop up a mini review once I’ve watched it.

Ordered from the US on 12th, dispatched on 14th and arrived on my doorstep in the UK on 22nd, pretty impressive times. Amazon's packaging is never great but arrived damage free. Police Story season 1 has good extras too as it includes the Pilot and Season 1 Movie of the Week plus an interview with the creator.
I have a Region Free DVD player which helps for dvds that don't get released in the UK.

Yeah I ordered my shirt I think either the 21st or 22nd from the UK and got it on the 24th. I had to pay an extra $75 in import duty fees.

The first couple/few times I watched it, it was basically a movie about a man having a ****** day and trying to deal with it all. Now, whenever I watch it or even see something about it, I can relate SO much more to him and what he goes through. Granted it would take a lot more for me to do what he does in the movie...but I can understand why he does what he does. I guess as I get older, I can relate to where he's coming from and how everything hitting him all at once can have that effect on him. There are days where I just want to go back home, get back in bed, and just wait for the next day to start to see if maybe it's better. Then I just think about how close I am to retiring (less than a decade) and how it SHOULD be better once I don't have to deal with rush-hour traffic twice a day, 5 days a week.

Anyway, excellent movie. I may have to pick that one up.
