Now to boot up the old PS3 and see if it still works. I suppose emulation is an option instead now I legally possess the game.

This game introduced me to Pendulum and Drum and Bass - that menu screen. Make sure you turn down your sound when you hover over it when selecting it in the PS3 menu

I can't remember the last time I made any orders for things I held off on, but here's a few things I just bought that I thought would be worth sharing:

A UPS battery backup and surge protector - if your power kicks out it can maintain power of the devices for a certain amount of time. I bought this not only for that, but because my PC draws a ton of power and causes the lights to flicker and cut out at times.

I figured it's time to get a proper USB hub for my devices instead of keeping a goofy, overloaded mass hanging from the rear of my PC.

A simple computer chair (finally), because I've been sitting on a simple no cushion chair that I found for free

And some earbud cables for my IEMs

I need a new chair. I've been using a GT Omega racing type chair for a long time but the cushion is too hard and it's been killing my tailbone for years. Need something more cushiony and spongy.

Pre-Order for this…!

It follows on from the film and is told through the eyes of Donnie’s mother and father. One of my favourite films so I’m stoked to see what happens next.

@phillgt2002

If you haven’t, check out “Noisia” and “Tipper” both in the same realms as Pendulums older stuff.

*little bit of naughty language warning

Looks great!

Looks like you have the handling package? What's it like to live with?

I've been tossing up whether to add an Aussie version (Herrod Performance maybe) and then also the front splitter when mine arrives (it's getting close) but I fear our roads will be too harsh. Herrod don't use the front splitter in their package because of our roads.

The chair I bought is not that bad. It only cost $53? The quality certainly reflects that price, but I can't complain.

I've heard of Noisia and liked a few of their songs back then. I'll check the two of them out though.

My Patreon reward from Yoshi Yoshıtani just arrived. It’s his monthly Palette Trio Set of three 4x6 prints. The theme this time is “My Favorite Ghibli Movies 2”. From left to right: Chihiro from Spirited Away, San from Princess Mononoke, and Kiki from Kiki’s Delivery Service.

Yes, I do have the handling package. Before I took delivery, I had it in my mind I would put lower springs on and spacers on the wheels. Neither were necessary. As it sits, the tires come out flush with the fenders, and the height of the car is about as low as I would want on our terrible Montana roads. I do have to be mindful pulling into driveways and parking lot entrances as they can be unforgiving on the front splitter if I’m not careful.

Ride quality in normal mode is decent. Suspension is still stiff, it’s not like riding around in a Cadillac by any means. You know you’re in a car that wants to be on a track. Sport and Track mode gets even stiffer. It’s an amazing ride on a smooth road with twisties, but on a rough road, you feel every bump and crack. And yes, I absolutely love the car!!! ;-)

Really glad to hear you're having fun with it, and that it isn't too difficult to live with.

I'm pretty used to low cars but that splitter combined with no front camera or sensors looks like an accident waiting to happen for me. I did find this integrated front camera that I'm currently looking in to.

Unfortunately for us in Australia we can't order with the OEM handling package, so our only options are Recaro's, Appearance package or the full T8 spec. I've been looking at the Herrod gear as they are closely tied with Ford and it's slightly more refined looking.

I’ve also looked into that integrated camera solution as well. Especially when I first started driving it. You have zero visibility of the front and it really sticks out much farther than you think it does. I’ve gotten used to it now and don’t see the need as much as I used to, but it would still be helpful in some situations to see what’s going on in the front.

Do you get the full 500hp or is it de-tuned like it is in the UK? Since the ECU’s are unlocked now, tuning isn’t as much of an issue, just find it odd that they make Ford de-tune them.

When do you take delivery? MT/Auto? You’re going to love it!

In the spirit of staying on topic, just ordered a Dash Cam, Vantrue Sonnet 1 Pro Max with rear camera. 40% off through August. Couldn’t pass it up. 😤👍🏼

Same thing with my new Tacoma. My '19 only had a crappy backup camera and pulling into parking spots was always a guessing game as to how close you could get to the car in front of you.

My '26 has
A much better backup camera by the tailgate handle
Another one by the tailgate handle that I'm not sure what it's for (possibly the bird's eye view?)
A front camera on the grille
One under each side mirror
One at the top of the cab pointed towards the box so you can see if anything is moving. Or in my case my tonneau cover.
Another at the top of the cab that is a live feed to the rear view mirror
And a 5' larger turning radius, which doesn't help the parking spot thing

Holy cow! I’d say they’ve got you covered pretty good. I’d love that on my Ram, can’t see anything in that thing and totally get the crappy turning radius. 😤😂
