I remembered that I have publiched pictures of my simrig but under an other section of GTplanet.

My simrig is now ten years old but it still doing service in my mancave. :) Nowadays it is placed in a very small rom up in the attic. The wheel servo base is replaced. The former T-500 gave up and I bought a T-300 and kept the magnifcant pedal set.

Here is my racing setup : DD pro 8NM, V3, CLubsport shifter, custom Simlab evo 1 rig, 2 x Bass Shaker. I'm waiting for the QR2 from fanatec to replace my WRC wheel.

Hello,
it's quite some time ago since someone updated this thread. So, here we go again. I'm happy to share some impressions with you. In total we have 10 pictures here but some of them (no. 3, 5, 6, and 9) are not 'clickable'. I don't know why...

I got obsessed with cable management after installing my Fanatec GT DD Pro, so I drilled holes in the wheel plate and frame, and ran the cables through the frame. I also filmed the whole thing on my phone and put a video together.

Having moved back to my Mum's, and with a surplus of various screens knocking about (one big one that will likely be given away or taken directly to the tip), it occurred to me that I might try setting up a driving rig in my garage.

There is literally no room for it in my Mum's house, so I either set it up in the garage or it may not get used again - which seems like a bit of a waste.

I bought the wheel base, wheel and pedals from @daan and despite my reservations about my skill level, I've really enjoyed it. I particularly liked it on Assetto Corsa, but would hook it up to my PS4 for GT7 only if I was in the garage.

I guess there are some pretty obvious things I'd need to do to use/keep it safely, but any tips on using a rig in one's garage would be most welcome.
