I have all of them : 1-5, max. I bought them in a HK special edition together with a postcard set and a zippo.
SKT 1 : really unique and imo the best one. Cool story & great racing. Really a balanced film.
SKT 2 - 5 : the same structure/story all over again just with different characters and cars. Story is a bit cheesy and there is sth else which can be kind of annoying : The film always tells you that illegal street racing is morally wrong and that only racing on tracks is a good thing. Tsuchiya plays the hero and the "moral king".
While that might be true in reality, it destroys the atmosphere in the film imo. Sometimes it's like watching an educationvideo in school.
SKT 2-5 are basically racing szenes connected with short dialogues( rather meaningless ) : Young racers on their way to the top of street racing. Street racers will die, those who become a pro racer are the true heros and get the chicks.
SKT : Max : Better than 2-5, but not as good as part 1.
