if you can't read the tv screen shot,

1061hp
123.7 miles (all drifting)

POWER freaks.....1000hp r34 drifting?I hope gt4 will have the abilty to limit the power for the races.

Your not... There are many people who do drift on T8's, but the smart ones are speed drifters, because there isn't much point to all that power when exhibition drifting....

;)

For it being stock, i didn't know you can customize them that much. other then color and rims. but i like the "more stock" look. as for the horsepower, it helps get totally sideways and bring it back. that is the car that i first learned with.

today i was messin around and picked up a Lancer Evo and had that up to about 500hp and i was doing alright.

but with the skyline, i use 50/50 drive distribution so its 4wd but the evo i was more using 30/70. and you can call me noob b/c i have only really been drifting since like january.

BUT I LOVE MY SKYLINE.

after i found out that lowering ur hp was more challenging i use to use t8 but now im on sims

interesting how everyones way of drifting is different, but the outcome is almost the same. i usually always pick either T5-T8 then dial in the suspension for optimal use of the tires. I almost never increase HP unless its nesessary. Gosh 90% of the time im playing GT3 is in the Run&Settings. I guess i have a thing for pushing the limits of stock cars as well.

i started with sims, and continue to use sims. before i started drifting, i thought the sims were USELESS. but now i see the light.

Ditto. I had a friend that on GT2 had an r34 (before drifting was teh ish) with over 1000 hp that he could keep totally perpendicular to the road almost indefinitely as long as corners were present. Looked very unnatural but dope none the less. I have a feeling that AWD will make its way into the drifting world, as long it doesn't implode in the mean time. Rhys Millen should have continued drifting Evos and been an innovator.

Indeed.... Rhys Millen is a fantastic AWD drifter.... He is getting pretty good at FR drifting as well....

;)

I really think that the car will hold Millen back, otherwise he's one of this country's best drifters. Unless the local drift contests split into different classes, he'll have little chance to compete. But then I thought the same about Hubinette's Viper. That just seems stupid to me; might as well just bring out some muscle cars to the contests. Which reminds me, I won't be surprised to see people using American classic muscle in drift comp's in GT4.

I agree... I didn't think a Supra would be a good choice to compete against Silvias, RX7's, Trueno's, etc..... If he was to jump into an RPS13 or something, I think he would have more of a chance......

I will be drifting every car in GT4..... Yes, every car (FF, FR, MR, RR, AWD), even the muscle cars, but just for novelty. Muscle cars are terribly unbalanced cars to start with, so they won't be the best choice for drift comps IMO....

;)

Yeah SilviaDrifter, that was the car that I believe he was using just until the GTO was ready. Although a Supra is fairly plump too, it would probably have a better chance than a GTO to maintain speed thruout a drift and in transition.

Yeah, I wonder why he uses such heavy cars.....

The C4 is a 'muscle car', given that it has hardware dating back to 1983 with the Thunderbirds and Monte carlos and Dodge Magnums:rolleyes:

Still, I can't wait to get behind of the wheel of that C3. I don't care if it's a '68 or an '82, it looks like it'll be a balst :)
