These videos are excellent, very concise and to the point. Looking forward to the next one.

And also, if you're a big bad Mod now why isn't your name in bold? Where's that cool yellow title? Is there a probation period of some kind? Do you have to get jumped in first??

you are 100% right, 240 coupes are great stock, at drift meeting's people compliment me on my drifting but they always ask, "you have an LSD, or some thing" nope bone stock. it's a perfect platform for drifting. you don't need a SR20DET swap or a cusco lsd or tanabe coil over's. your also correct when you said " when i want it to grip it grips, when i want it to drift, it drifts"

alot of the drift events i go to, most of the people with flashy paint job's, all them sticker's, $2,500.00 volk or work wheel's, can't drift worth a crap. it's all about image to those guy's so people think thier drifter's. the guy's with the most beat up , run down lookin 86's and 240's are doing the most insane drift's and do'n it 'cause it's what they love. they love the "feel" of drifting, and they can don't give a sh@t what people think. like me.

Indeed... I am almost glad that I don't have the funds for any mods (Automotive School) because it is forcing me to use technique over power... It's raining right now, so I will be drifting tonight...

that's how the good become great, practice! be safe! i'm in the same boat, i'm also glad i did'nt mod my car, i like drifting stock, some might think it's dumb, but it work's for me!

If I can get someone to go with me... I usually go alone... However, I'm trying to find someone with big enough huevos to get good shots of me drifting... It's a process...

Huevos DR?? i just looked it up... they mean eggs... i'm just a little confused here :confused: haha, i'm assuming you mean balls.. but yes... french does not really help w/spanish... mandarin neither :grumpy: haha, later guys

Yes, "Huevo" means "egg"... However, it's also a slang term for testicles...

anyhow, you'll need someone without little chiquita cojones, and with that said, i could get the job done.

i love taking action shots....and i'll have my peripheral vision because im not looking through a lens.

the way i see it is...you do your job as a drifter, and i'll do mine as a photographer.
now all thats left is you coming here or me going to seattle. <_<

Well, my brakes went out last night (just driving around), I hit a curb, snapped the control arm, and bent some other important suspension pieces... I won't be doing any drifting for a while...

Amazing how you can drift many times and not have any problems, then you go out to rent a movie and get in a wreck... That's life I guess...

No body damage, just damage to the left front suspension... I'm going to tow it home tomorrow and asses the damage... I'll take some pics and post them tomorrow night...

SD I love your new IDM excersice thingies. They have compeled me to dust off GT3 until GT4 comes along. Anyways I couldn't figure out what tires were you using? Knowing you they were probably sims? I looked in other threads but could not find out....Help is appreciated. :)
 
On a side note, "VinK" has returned, now known as "vinsion"
I only ever had one video (really just a clip of a single drift, but hey, it wasn't too bad).
ALSO: I had a few other clips of me that I was going to post it (I actually got some web hosting), but then I patched XP and overloaded my TCPIPs, as in, catastrophic failure and REFORMAT (meh).

Sorry to try to steal the steam from you SilviaD, err, DelphicR....BTW, did you ever get a new Silvia after the blown engine (you can PM with for that one).

Man I just had a pretty sweet AWD dori session :) . Thanks SD for getting me back into GT3. Makes me think of the old days with P-D and M-D. :( Nice to see you also ToyotaDrifter, hows Phantom D coming along? Talk to you on aim later sometime.

The tires are clearly marked... I'm glad you have enjoyed the excersises thus far... After this next excersise, we will be moving on to FR, then FF, then MR, then back to AWD, and so on... I will create at least 3 excersises for each drivetrain before moving on... I will continue to expand upon the excersises in sequence...
