I have a non-founded suspicion. Someone else mentioned that their T500RS calibrated but wouldn't control any of the menus when connected to the PS4. Something tells me that once the first wheel-compatible game for the PS4 is released SONY will release a FW update adding wheel functionality for all wheels that worked with the PS3.

Sony has flat out stated at that no USB PS3 controllers/wheels/fight sticks are supported on PS4 unless the DEVELOPER decides to include the necessary drivers...so no OFFICIAL support, although at least they don't actively block legacy devices from working. Essentially, that just means that wheels are supported on a title by title basis.

Well that's pretty much how it worked with the PS3. The T500 didnt work with all games, the G27 didnt get support in GT5 until way after its release. So basically all your losing is using the wheel to navigate the menus. Not a big deal in my book.

Yep, I posted that before seeing those reports. It's not the solution we'd all want, but at least they'll work if the developer wants them to. It was neat not having to use the controller to launch the game.

I've moved the compatibility chart to my website here. If you see any typos or errors, let me know.

It leaves the door open for them to announce something "OFFICIAL" later if they want to. Either way, as long as they don't do any active "not making it work" I'm happy.

Okay I was just told about an Amar212 post on Neogaf here and he is far more reputable than the other simracing article I posted. He said only the Thrustmaster T500RS is compatible with the PS4 at this time. So I'm changing the PS4 compatibility to Yellow/Unknown until we know for certain what is compatible.

I think I heard through the grapevine that the Fanatec CSR & Elite wheels get recognized as a G27 wheel by the PS3. I don't know if that is true or not, but if so, then maybe those CSR & Elite wheels will work too? *shrug*

Any more word on Fanatec's adapters? I noticed how it said it was rumoured.

Also, I'm pretty sure the Porsche GT3 RS is only PC and PS3 compatible.

Thanks for that buddy. I haven't heard anything further and it could be Fanatec may need to make an adapter for the PS4 as well, time will tell. It's a shame Drive Club got delayed so we could find this kind of stuff out by now. But maybe the drivers are part of the reason for the delay?

logitech said this on twitter back on the 2nd December in response to a question regarding ps4 comparability;

"we’re still working on PS4 support. updates will be posted to the forums when there is news."

Yes the CSR and CSR Elite wheels work just fine on the PS3, I have used my CSR Elite to play GT5 and now GT6 and one of my friends is using a CSR to play GT6, feels better in GT6 than GT5 but works on both. I can't say for sure but I think they should work with the PS2 as well

Yay, go Logitech, now you can continue to rest on the laurels of a wheel that is a now dinosaur, albeit a still a decent value. No need to work on the next generation. Whats that Logitech? You weren't planning on it? Fart noises
