Then what was in your pants??! :yuck: :scared:

Also Jgda9rs thanks for your tips aswell, im sure ill get better as i progress through! With photoshop though, because its not free, i cant download it now until my paypal activates, (if you can get it with paypal)

Thanks everyone! :dunce:

patience is a virtue. i'm sure it will be worth it :)

The fact is I find something interesting in that photo because it's similar to the original GT4 blur effect. As far as I know, PS has not that filter, right?

Anyways you should adjust contrast and brightness.

hey

thanks for dropping in, i was experimenting with blurs and things, that filter is a GIMP Zoom blur, so i wouldnt be 100% sure about PS

thanks again! :dunce:

i like the F1 update. very original. it's a bit weird, but i still find it great in an artistic sort of way. one way of doing zoom blur in gimp, and this was how i used to do it, was doing the half part of the picture first, then doing the same thing for the other side (when applying the zoom blur) and try doing it on a different layer, that way you dont get the parts of the car being blurred away with the background like on that photo. and try to apply noise before doing the blur to add a bit of definition to the lines on the blur, giving it a much more defined effect. and you're gonna need it, as you can see the gimp blurs arent very nice, i used to have to apply a little bit of gaussian blur after i've put the layers together just so the whole photo looks smooth. but good work so far. i dig the lancia shots a lot as well. you're making good progress.
just keep on pushing. i'll be keeping an eye on you here 👍

The F1 could really need as alex said, some contrast adjustments, looks kinda 'pale'.
But good experimental shot, nevertheless. That tone of blue is gorgeous.

The Deltas, 1st shot has potential, but it's too dark, and it lacks sense of depth.
2nd shot has the same 'problem', it seems they were taken at max shutter speed and full aperture, which makes GT4 shots look 'flat', without any focal or speed blur.
But great car choice, I always loved those babies. 👍

Cool idea, it's like a Lancia Tour at the beautiful Amalfi surroundings... Probably those photos need more brightness and less artificial colors btw.

Nice shots, my only criticism being that the spectators look like oragami. But over all they're 2 gret shots!

I quite like the compositions in both of the Delta shots but have you thought about resizing them at all? They take ages to load, even on my 8mb connection and the large sizes just shows up the bad textures in GT4. The 2nd shot for example has a really nice mood to it but the badly rendered spectators ruin it a little for me because they're so prominent in the photo.

Alexwrc: Thanks, i liked the idea, i was thinking of working on a brother&sister theme, i was thinking of maybe fiat500 but i just chose this, i dont know why!

AlexTB: heh thanks for dropping by.

Arathorn: Again thanks, ill try a few more in the style of F1 fully cleaned, and more profesionally blurred

Mog: ok maybe i will, ill look around to see what size most people use, and hopefully that will help you out!

Thanks guys, next update : 2 days approx

here it is a day late but who gives one?

this time i went for a similar approach to the F1 but in a more sinister darker way... The VW Nardo Everybody! 👍

I like the first shot of the Delta shots you posted up on page 7.

that thing looks evil in that photo! it really scares me a little bit. great work on this update! certainly looks so much better than the last one. i like how the headlights look as well. just gives it that sinister look 👍 i look forward to seeing your next update.

Awesome editing.
Nardo always has a happy face, no exception with this one
A happy ghost chasing at your back!
