so i just got back to Gran Turismo 5 drag racing and was wondering if you have a wing on a car will it make it slower if so what type 4wd, fr, mr. your answers would be very helpful

A wing will make your car slower and it makes no difference what the drive configuration is. This is particularly true since PD updated the physics engine to more accurately model the effect of wings on cars.

More rear downforce=more grip on the line, but lower top speed.

So if you are doing short drag races (1/4mile, or 1000ft) you will probably want one. But for longer drags (1mile, Mulsanne) you don't want one.
