You know... (end of the night rant)
It's odd to me... So many people can't stand the Ring or don't race it quickly. For me it's very different. I love racing the Ring (until recently GT4 seemed as close as I would ever be to racing on it). On top of that, I find it to be not
too difficult to complete a lap. Rather, I find that if I make it past T3 and then T6 I've pretty much got a keeper of a lap.
Of course, I don't always manage that and re-starts are a common thing. None the less, I love racing the Ring and it always amazes me that it is such a difficult track (it's difficult for me as well, don't get me wrong).
On a different note, I've been running Laguna Seca just as I said I would and guess what, I suck.

My best lap has only reached into the 1'26 range and my starting lap was well over 1'30 (exact time with-held for reasons of pride).
Once I've got an acceptable lap I will surely post it. Until then I just want to re-iterate that I am deeply indebted to Ron for his/your awesome work with this thread and more specifically, for your patience with my Ring lap. The corrupt data and constant struggle to go under 7 minutes was rough on me but for you/Ron it must've been seriously annoying.
On that note, Kelly, thanks for the kind words.

Thanks again to all of you who have been patient and kind about my troubles with a clean, acceptable lap.
Until next time,
Kent
