Since now we will have Spa, why not F1 Classics?

GT5 first DLC will bring the magic circuit of Spa!

It would be trully amazing to have a new DLC with some classic F1 cars to run on it! My advice...the 1988 Mclaren MP4/4 of Ayrton Senna!!!

What do you think?

Lets try influence Mr.Kazunori Yamauchi!
 
How manny times we have to say it. It will not be possible due to licences. You can be happy if you get the Ferrari F1 cars, but anything other than a Ferrari F1 you will not see
 
FIA GT @ Spa would be better and easier for PD, 24 Hours of Spa with GT1 and GT2 machines? :drool:
 
I would much rather have some GT3 and GT4 race cars to race around it but 24 hours would be nice.
 
I suggested the Mclaren MP4/5B of Ayrton Senna 1988!! But I'm a HUGE sports car fan so why not any FIA GT1, GT2, GT3, or GT4 cars? Like the Mercedes SLS GT3 car, or the Mclaren MP4-12C GT3 car!!!! Ahhh. Like the Spa 24 hours. Also some new LMP cars like the new Pescorolo Zytek, The Rebellion Racing LMP1 or the nicest of all: The Audi R18!!!! I was a bit dissapionted win the new DLC list. Especially the fact that there all RM cars and that theres a Prius touring car!!! Oh well, hopefully kaz will figure it out with the next DLC if there is one

Since there aren't any F1s coming soon, I'd like to see a massive expansion with LMPs and other class cars run during Le Mans. Besides the NASCARs, the LMPs, and the Super GTs, there really aren't any "normal" racing cars (ie cars based on production cars that actually exist).

I think most of us got that. But you can still ask for it. It is possible to get the license to the cars.

Its not something impossible like some of you think. Its just a matter of some hard work and money..

But yea i really would like to see some of the old formula 1 cars too. Im a huge senna fan. Just dreaming about driving through the streets of monaco in that thing (the mclaren mp4-4)

they had the MP4-4 and MP4-5/5B on GT3 and 4 but they were in PD custom colours, not in proper livery and called polyphony001 or 002 or something like that

Fixed. But yeah the MP4/4 would be a great addition, though as people have stated getting F1 cars into a non F1 game is not easy.
 
Really want these to be added, but the odds aren't very good. TBH any single seater series would be a good addition. I'd like to see Indycar or Formula 3000 added.

GT is just as much a formula 1 game as a game of le mans and really racing. Formula 1 is just the highest level of racing possible and therefor there aint no reason why there should'nt be more of them as there is so many LMP's.

That's not the 2011 R31 that is the R30 from last year repainted the livery of this year. Merc-GP also painted a couple of Brawn GP001s the 2010 livery after taking over Brawn GP.

The 2011 is different but look close to the 2010 Renault

Also why can't PD get these old F1 cars? The License doesn't fall under the FOA or the FIA. They are owned by the manufactures many of which already appear in PD. I think PD doesn't have these cars because they may think not many of the players know about them.
 
To have these cars in GT5 would be amazing, F1 is the highest level of motorsport with almost superhuman drivers. We can only live in hope :)
 
@LMSCorvetteGT2 I know! Sadly no one will know about them! American and I race karts, so I know about all levels of Motorsports just about. I will be In a regular room and I said GT race! And other people (Americans) they said "What are those?" "Formula GT?" and I was like COME ON! That's why I play Europeans

I Agree it would be great to see more F1 Cars, just judging from past console racing games it doesn't seem easy to get the license for them.

We won't be seeing any more McLarens in the GT series...they just signed a deal with some computer sim company to build a sim around every car they ever built....including ALL their classic F1 cars. Autoweek had an article on it on Friday...

Hated that car, looks even worse today than it did back then, if we can't have f1 cars then how about indy cars? Sure they are basic compared to f1 cars but would still be great to race on gt5
