Yes Speedster, it does have trophies, and they are very easy to get at the start of the game, but as the game gets harder you won't hear the lovely Trophy sound (ping) for quite a while.

Since i got Skate 2 i've been playing it a lot. But the game has frozen like 20 times. Stuck on loading screens e.t.c. It is a little better now when I mostly play online, but it still happens now and then. The career mode was much worse. But it's still a really great game!
Has anyone got to the mission "Slam Dunk" yet? You have to set up a ramp and to a handplant on the backboard. It's impossible for me, I can't set the ramp up right so I don't hit the backboard. Has anyone done it yet?

Yeah, theres a angled bench in the basket ball court above the one where the challenge is. Move the bench into the court and press it against the basket ball hoop. Then craftfully move the ramp ontop of the bench. Then head towards the basket and hand plant on the ramp, its simpler than actually handplanting on the basket which is basically impossible to do. Atleast thats what I did. Hope that works for you.
the bench doesent do anything, i made it without the bench.
Just take the two halfpipes and put them facing against eachother and get some speed
by starting at the tunnel .

I wound up using one of the quarter pipes sitting on top of a bench and the sloped picknet table, worked like a charm. Before I was just lining up one ramp at the goal and going up to the tunnel and heading down.
I've been playing it, trying to get some trophies and just having fun. Hall of meat was pretty fun and actually became quite addicting after getting the hang of it (finally unlocked Dem Bonez, glad to see he made a come back in Skate 2).
Played today and clipped a railing, flew 30 feet in the air, hit a palm tree head on, fell on his head, and got run over.
And I still got no Hall of Meat award.
