Product: Smokin' Buds
Price: $29.95
How long since I own this product?: since X-mas 07.
Where to buy?: http://www.skullcandy.com/ or your nearest electrics store.
Specs:

  • speaker diameter is 9 mm
    Cable length is 1.3 M
Plug type is 3.5 mm gold plated
Frequency Range is 18 Hz to 18 Khz
Max input power is 10 mW
    Magnet type is NdFeb
Pros:

  • carrying case for earphones
Three sizes small, medium(equiped on earphones when in package), and large.
volume adjuster on cable for quick and easy adjustments.
harder for others to hear the music(very good at isolating the music to others).
has isolation at the holes for keeping it cool.
Cons:
  • You have to clean the earbuds sometimes.

Conclusion:
Very great sound quality for 30 bucks and try to keep the volume at like 75% so you don't blast your hearing.

Cons:
I can't think of any for now.

Cons
Its made by skullcandy. :scared:

Not trying to be harsh or anything but skullcandy's products arnt exactly the best, both in terms of value or sound quality :nervous:

They are like bose, but geared towards a younger audience who tends to be tone deaf and loves "quote... Monster Bass"

Con: That little skull on the side of the rubber that goes into you ear, is the most annoying thing existence.
Pro: They're cheap.

Con: People with skullcandy's think they're the S**t...

I bought a pair at the airport out of desperation. The sony plugs were too pricey and these fit the bill for what I needed - sound isolation.

Pro's - cheap-ish, built-in volume adjustments, ????
cons: sound is disproportionately balanced in favor of bass tones. Mid-tones sound bassy. Trebles are weak. Midtones are unclear. The plugs are extremely uncomfortable. The smallest size is too large for many people. For the price, sony probably makes better ones... but they're sony. Meaning they will be bass heavy with weak mid-tones and trebles.
