Just wondering if there is any interest in a 400m battle between all Nissan Skylines, bar the racing (JGTC) ones.

If so just sign up.

  • Full car modification allowed
  • Can modify any/all settings on the car
  • Will be grouped into 3 different categorys (R32, R33, R34) MAYBE
  • Any tires allowed
  • NO hybrids etc allowed
  • NO ASM and TCS. They have to be set to 0.

Anyone willing to give it a go?

I'm in. I'll probably run a stock Nismo 400R.

I am going to either Use Nismo R-Tune or Mines Skyline. depends on what hp I can get them too.

I know that the Nismo R-Tune is the lightest Skyline in the game when stage 3 lightweight has been done.

Yeah, you just play normally, then post your fastest times on here in a new post. Hopefully GT4 will make use of the ps2's network adapter. :D

Ok, since my PS2 is at one house and my Internet computer is at another house, I am going to have to go over, beat the challenge and then come back eventually and enter my times. I am quite certain I will beat a 9.513 400M in a Skyline.
 
Ummm...hehe..I think it had 1035 hp. It was the R34 II.

Dang....I don't have the R-Tune

I'm quite certain you will beat me too!! :D
 
Ok, I did an exact 9.500 with the R34 II. I havent tried any others because I have you beaten.

I set cambers to 0, toes to 0 and held the gears until 8,500rpm

If you do this with a fully modded Skyline R34 II you should see the same results. later I will try some other Skylines.
 
Oooops.My time was with the R32. Has about 876 hp.
 
I got 9.418

Skyline gt-r v-spec II (r34,j) 1049bhp
 
So far, I have gotten a 9.257. This was with a GT-R V-spec II(R34,J). It has 1072hp.
 
I ran a 9.217 in tthe same car, but with a different setup.
 
I got 9.252 atm. I'm still fiddling around.

its the R34 II with 1072 hp.

Are we allowed to have the TCS and the ASM on?

Cos that was without them.
 
9.151 with r34 vspec 2 all goodies no traction or ams. 1072hp.

If you just play regulary and post your times. You shouldn't be in Online Racing you should be in Lap Times and Comparison Forum.

sorry, im not a skyline fan but im to the challenge. i have a R34 and my best with stock tranny,no weight reduction, no porting, no balancing, no displacement up, no tcs, no asm and with 980hp my best is 9.69sec in 400m.
 
Well blow me down... How the hell did you do that?
 
Damnit! I haven't been here for quite some time! Looks like I have been beaten many times over. I will have to get back to the track and see what times I can click off.
 
I cant seem to get better than 9.18X with a fully modded Skyline R34 V-II.


I am using automatic.
 
I dunno if this race is still going on, but can we use Nismos? Coz technically they are a form of skyline.
