i found that when i upgraded from stock to full racing tranmission, the gear ratios set themselves for more acceleration(compared to stock, which focuses more on top end speed)

tweak your gear ratios

buy the full custom trans unless you allready have it
and go into settings before a race or test and turn up you trans ratios
or turn up the levels on auto setting intill you get it where you want it

Yes, basically what you do is this:
1. But a full racing transmission (approx. 10,000 cr)
2. Go to settings
3. Go to the third big icon, and it will have gear settings
4. Change the Auto Setting wider for a slower acceleration but better top end, or do it manually for precise settings.

What track are you testing it on? Test it on the Test Course in Run and Settings.

If you go to gear settings, you can change all the gears manually, further towards acceleration.

For example, push the Auto Setting way up (right), then push 1st through 6th up towards more top end/less bottom end (right again), then go to Final Setting and push that to the left.

the Skyline can probably reach around 380 km/h tops... (around 200 mph)

Oh ok....I'm not really fluent in mph, if you catch my drift.

it's weird cause I have two of the same skylines (different colors) both are R34's and their settings are both the same, one tops out over 200 mph and the other at 160
