Just 2 quick questions..

1) Why are all the top guys using the R34 Mspec and not the Vspec? Is there a noticable difference between the 2? As far as I know the Mspec gives you a softer, more comfortable ride in real life, not a better lap time.

2) Is it better to go for more power, or less weight when setting up the car for this event?

Thanks.

One thing I noticed with these Skylines, that even though the R34 is the heaviest in the game out of these Skylines, which is not true in real life, R33 takes that one, you can still feel how much more responsive and well balanced it is compared to its predecessors.. I struggled with the 32 and 33 to get any meaningful lap times for awhile, and within 2 laps I beat both of their times with the 34.. by far.

Hey 4DSC..heres my Quick answers..
1) I think the M must just have favourable traits over the other Skylines. Also, from memory, the M spec has a lower pp in standard form, so it can be tuned a little harder.
2) Its more about finding the right compromise between weight and power rather than a choice between light & low hp vs. heavy & high hp.
Personally I find the R32 half a second faster than all of them(1:28:319).

Hi answer to question 2: I haven't driven any of the skylines in real life, but a good tip when tuning a 4wd car in gt5, do all the weight reductions, then add 200kg +50 (50 in the back) it will get rid of some of the understeer, and create more rotation 👍.

Makes sense about the Mspec.

Really? I really had some trouble with the R32, it tends to understeer more then the R34, but honestly the R33 kinda sucks lol.. Which is why I dont really see it on the leaderboards. The chassis on it is more responsive then the 32, but it understeers horribly. Maybe my tuning just sucks.
