Skyrim

Just a reminder....Dragonborn dlc came out today. I will be picking this dlc up for sure but I will wait until the weekend or later than that. I am always a bit nervous buying Bethesda DLC the day it comes out. I try to wait at least a day or 2.

I will be downloading it today. I was worried about bugs and stuff like that, but I honestly can't wait to start it. Yea I heard this should not even be considered DLC, its a true expansion pack with so much new stuff.

Sadly I have never played earlier iterations of TES, but what the hell is that thing?

I will be buying this DLC for sure but will probably wait until the weekend or maybe next week. Just a lot going on right now with all the recent games. Halo 4, BF3 map pack coming out, Skyrim, FC3, Borderlands 2, Black Ops 2, RE6 and much more. But I will get it for sure.

When I click the link it sends me to the pic of your Spartan from Halo 4. If I click it again it shows a box of bullets for your Ak-47.

Awesome screens, i finally downloaded it on sunday, still haven't traveled to Solstheim yet but had the encounter with the Cultists in Riverwood. Really looking forward to diving into it, just a matter of finding some spare time!

Wow that Silt Strider is messed up looking. Like a giant flea. I bet you about crapped when you seen that for the first time.
I will be picking up this dlc probably over the weekend. I still need to finish Hearthfire. They still wont give me access to the land in Falkreath. I looked it up and it seems that I need to finish my side quests. But cant figure out which side quest I need to finish.

that sucks you cant get your house yet :irked:

found some interesting stuff in the dragonborn dlc last time i played, here are some pics ;)

on a quest a entered a room that had piles of gold, each pile was from 84-130 gold and there were probobly 30 piles !!!

then i came across this, wtf is a werebear ???

The werebare made me laugh. lol Awesome about the gold piles. Reminds me of Fable 3.

I really wanted to get the dlc but it appears my game is glitched. So until this is fixed, I wont be buying any dlc.

I am about to give up on Skyrim. I still cant get the house in Falkreath from the Hearthfire dlc.

I asked about this a few months ago and the only response was to complete side missions. Well I have cut my side missions in half after days and days. I still cant get the option from the Jarl Siddgeir and Nenya. No response from Helvard either.

Here are the missions I currently have activated. Do you see any in here I need to complete so I can get the property dialog?

Do you think it has something to do with the side mission above where it says "Report to the Jarl of whiterun" ? Everytime I try to talk to him (Jarl Balgruuf the greater) nothing happens. The dialog says "what will it take to end the war" then he says something about removing the head of Ulfric Stormcloak.

Do you think this mission is bugged too? I want to buy the Dragonborn dlc but not if this doesnt work first. I want that 3rd house.

^ Does this help:

For Falkreath:
You must complete the “Rare Gifts” favor, and the “Kill the Bandit Leader” favor. You may then buy land from Steward Nenya. "I was stuck with Falkreath but i did all the misc rare gift quests, once i did all them i was able to buy land from the Jarl in Falkreath."

Rare Gift Quests

Getting the book The Mirror for captain Aldis in Solitude

Getting a Mammoth Tusk for Ysolda in Whiterun

Getting the book Song of the Alchemists for Lami in Morthal

Getting the book Night falls on Sentinel for Rustleif in Dawnstar

Getting an Amulet of Arkay for Torbjorn Shatter-Shield in Windhelm

I FINALLY unlocked the dialog from the Jarl!!!

It had nothing to do with the list posted above. I had to complete the mission called "Locate the Assassin of Old" under the misc missions. After I completed this I returned to the Jarl, like I do after every mission, and he had the new dialog. After that I just had to get him some Black Briar Mead and it worked!!!! Finally!!

TY. Yes NOW I plan to buy both of the other DLC packs that I dont have yet.

I spent about 3 hours rebuilding my character on Sunday. He was setup almost 100% for magic. All the armor, rings, and necklaces were dual enchanted with some sort of magic enhancements. Now I rebuilt him with the main focus on stamina boost for single handed weapon combat. Which will also work very well if I feel like swinging double handed weapons. So he is set for a while. I will still use my bow until it is level 100 but my main focus will be close quarters single handed and dual handed weapons.

I also leveled up my blacksmith so I can create Daedric weapons and armor. I only had 2 Daedric hearts so I just created a Daedric Bow which looks so sick. Its also better than my ebony bow and a little lighter. Once I get more Daedric hearts then I will build an entire armor set with Daedric armor. Cant wait to get the dlc so I can start making arrows.

Good stuff Camaroboy, you will fully enjoy the new DLC. Also, I have been hearing rumors of more Skyrim DLC planned for March I believe, called Redgaurd. Makes me so happy that Bethesda keeps plugging away with new content for this game!

Lol I was having this same problem, I am Thane in just about every town, never had a problem until now. After taking your recomendation to buy Hearthfire, I built my first house, Winstad Manor, after becoming Thane of Morthal. It was not my first choice, I couldn't get the Dialogue from the Jarl in Falkreath to buy property so I went to Morthal instead.

After building all 3 wings on my Winstad house, I took a break to do more side quests. Then I focused on Falkreath again, and for the record, Bounty quests given DO NOT count towards being able to buy property.

What ended up working for me is going to the Halfmoon Mill and chopping wood there for the lady, Hert is her name (too bad you can't marry her, she is one of the best looking NPC in the game). I learned that you do not have to just help people in Falkreath, any place in the Hold's territory will work. After I chopped the wood I instantly went back to the Jarl, there was instantly a new dialogue option and he gave me a request for Black Briar Mead. After delivering the mead (from the Tavern in Falkreath, you do not need to go all the way to Riften), he game me another quest to Kill a Bandit leader in the Embershard Mine, after that was complete I was given the option to buy the Land from his assistant.

I am still not Thane of Falkreath, you do not need to be Thane in order to buy the property.

no level cap and legendary difficulty rumored to be coming to the 360 !!!

found something badass today, its the steed stone and it allows you to carry more weight and your armor weight doesnt effect you !!!

also found giant ninroot, and a dragon just chillin on a island lol:

Shouldn't this thread be locked? I know it was carried over from Forza Planet.....
Well, that explains why I had never seen this thread until today. I wondered why it wasn't already merged with a similar thread that is almost a year older than this one.
