Sloooooow 1.05 update download

I just started to download the 1.05 update, and it says it's gonna take like 600 minutes? Do anyone else experience anything like this? Or do you people, who already downloaded the update, experience it back then? IT'S ANNOYING!
 
600 Mins ? are you on Dial up ?

Mind you mine took 42 mins , there again i've only got 1.8mbps here and i'm sure thats dependant on wind direction :lol:
 
Took Me all of 6min to get, I'm in new zealand and always get content fast. It may friend on what country you are and where three content is? Normally your international speed is a lot slower, so maybe its your isp
 
It'll probably take me 2 hours once I can download it. For some reason I have to spend a week or two trying before it'll finally download.
 
I had that too, yesterday and I'm on 6Mbit.
Just cancel and retry.
 
Took me around 2-3 mins. FiOS 50mbps!
 
mine took 11 minutes
 
wth, it took me like maybe 8-9 mminutes,, the wireless is literally right beside my ps3.
 
I have a 20/20 connection, shouldn't be that slow. Maybe it's because i'm stuck in Denmark, and the servers are located far far away, anyhow, it sucks!
 
It took me 150 minutes to download, but I had to leave anyway, so it didn't matter.
 
And i'm on a cabled connection, tried the wifi to, same crap. But seriously, could it be the Denmark thing? And the servers are located so far away that it could cause a slow download? As far as i remember, it downloaded the other updates a lot faster. Maybe it's Taleban scrambling the Danish internet connection, as a part of a cruel cruel terrorist action
 
600 minutes? Do people still have dial-up?
 
Just started downloading it requires 300 ~ mins. My connection is 25 mb/s but I get 14 mb/s on average... dunno wtf`s going on.

Edit: tried again by restarting my ps3 and it took about 5 mins to finish

Don't worry OP, you're not the only one. I started downloading it this afternoon, 628 minutes, nearly done now. :)
 
Well, in a moment of rage, i pulles the plug on the system. Starter it up 2 minutes later, and whoa, took me 10 minutes to download.... weird

It took me about 15~20 min. to download and install, not too bad...
 
You want slow? I was getting 22k per second for around 3 hours last night - it eventually downloaded at 4.20 this morning - seven hours after I started the update :-(
 
Under 2 minutes for me, like all have said, the update is not slow, your internet is.
 
it told me 90 minutes initially but then I got a better connection and it took about 10 minutes to download and install. I had Enough time to make a sandwich.
 
I once had 3000 mins with my wireless download, and kept failing, it said errors. So i decided to plug the ethernet cable directly to my ps3, problem solved. Downloaded the patch in 45 mins:tup:
 
I just finished downloading it an hour ago. It took about 80 minutes, which considering what my internet connection is normally like, was quicker than I had expected :)
 
I was told by the nice small numbers on screen to wait 748 minutes!
Turns out, after a few beers, it only took about 45.
I don't have the fastest connection in the world but waiting for that time for the update was defo worth it.
 
Mine said 70 minutes at first, then dropped to 20 minutes afterwards.
 
Back
