Slow Mo' Monday YouTube Preview - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4OhrjUk6vvA
This event is presented by GT Elite's active members and we've decided to bring this extremely fun event to the masses here at the official GTPlanet forums. Any drivers that are interested in coming out to a Slow Mo' event are welcome to send AirSocata, BigFluffy10000, QwietStorm03, Buderfingers, or myself a friend request via PSN to get themselves in the door. We run this event on a weekly basis on Mondays starting at 8pm EsT. You can also drop by our website for more details on other events we host.
Current Slow Mo' Format:

2nd Monday of the month - Regular Slo-Mo with spec's to be announced as always.
3rd Monday of the month - Slo-Mo Shuffle Racing
4th Monday of the month - Regular Slo-Mo with spec's to be announced as always.

Event Q&A:
"Will this event be run under perfect race conditions or will this be a random weather event?"
We like to go the route of allowing the drivers that attend the Slow Mo' events the oppurtunity to cast their vote on where the races will be held. This adds a certain amount of unpredictability to Slow Mo' Mondays and gives everyone their fair shot at having it their way.
"Is this an enduro event of 10+ laps or a short event?"
This varies from week to week, and sometimes from race to race. We like to mix it up out there and give everyone a little something to snack on. We have drivers that like to run short races of less than 10 laps and we also have drivers that enjoy the endurance races. Therefore we make room for eachother, set our differences aside, and have a blast in the process.
"Will restrictions will this event be driven under?"
The restrictions will be posted weekly here at the forums a few days in advance so drivers can get out there and shop early. I think this is a great oppurtunity for people that may be a little timid or even beginner racers to get involved with the GT5 online community. These races are going to be tight and with the lower speeds it levels the field a bit so every decent driver has a chance to win on any given Monday.
"What is GT Elite?"
Gran Turismo Elite is a community for mature adults that seek a well organized group of like minded drivers with the overall goal of enhancing their experience playing Gran Turismo 5. That said, GT Elite is not solely for elite drivers. We welcome all drivers that routinely conduct themselves in an elite fashion both on the track and throughout the GT community so as to further advance our overall goal. We strive hard to ensure this level of conduct among our members is maintained so that both our experience and yours is not tainted. As a participant in GT Elite events you have the freedom to be an everyday contributor or just an occasional. The only thing we require is that drivers conduct themselves in a respectful manner towards others so as not to infringe upon our overall goal within GT Elite. GT Elite members range from college students, to parents, to professional racers, to people in many professions across the world, with the desire to race with other mature and respectful people as the thing that brings us all together.
"Is there anything else you'd like to add at this time?"
That pretty much covers the basics for now. We hope to see many drivers out there with us cruising the circuits in GT5's lower end cars soon.
If anyone has any further questions about Slow Mo' Mondays feel free to submit your questions here on this thread.
