Slowest car for PD

Just got the PS2 and GT3, about a month ago and I am crazy about it, at 75% now.

I am just wondering, what is the slowest car it is possible to win the PD cup with. I did it first time with a TVR speed 6 (love the sound of that car and it is a lot of fun to drive, a skyline feels sluggish after driving that) and that was a breeze. What car can you win with but only with good driving, strategy, etc.?

Is it possible to win with an Integra Type-R?

What is the slowest car YOU have won the PD cup with?

Toyota GT-One Road Car.

Well you asked the question and you got the answer.

I have done a few individual races in a slower car.

I personally would not go as low hp wise as the integra. I would also try an individual race and remember that by the end of the series you lose quite a bit of hp.

Cars to try could be New Beetle RSi, any of the S2000s, Celica GT Four, Toyota MR2 GTS. If you have done it in a Skyline and it was easy then you are after something in the 220-250 hp range but make sure you take account of the power weight ratio.

I think some of the other people used a Camaro and said it was a close race, isn't there another thread similar to this???

The only car I have raced with in the PD cup is the TVR speed 6. That was easy.

I want to do something hard next time.

No, but there are a lot of threads about the best cars for the PD cup. I am interested in the worst car you can use to win the PD cup. Not the best.

I challenge anyone to win the PD cup using the slowest car possible.

I have heard through the grapevine that a pitz was used and a Fiat too. try a speedster too.

Yeh, but i think with a Pitz you would lose no matter what. A VX220 would be good.

I'm going to be competing in the PD Cup in the NSX in a few days, I'm looking forwars to that.

I've heard that the NSX will stomp the competition, though, so it may not be ideal for you...

I told you, okay, probably the slowest car you could win it in is the Chevrolet Camaro Z28.

See Meeekael's avatar for more information. :)

I've managed in a Lancer Evo VI.

Others have accomplished it in a Toyota MR2.

I'm Currently in the testing stage on a Tommy Kaira ZZS. Note this is not the ZZII, which is considered a race car.

While testing, I've qualified on the pole in the ZZS at Trial Mtn., and I've won the SSR5 by 49.417 seconds facing against the 350Z.

Before you get all wound up about me being a pro driver, I'm not. In fact in the GTP weekly series, I only managed to qualify as a beginner racer.

It is possible - and I have done it - to win in a Honda Integra Type-R. So there.

I'm thinking of dropping down to the Acura RS-X or the FIAT Coupe next.

Hey, it should be easy with the Tommy K, it has a better power to weight ratio than an NSX. An MR2 sounds difficult, which MR2 was that? An Integra Type R also sounds tough. I guess I will have to try that.

That Type -R would demolish the comp. A type-R would be difficult, but possible. Definately possible, but you need to master FF and tire choose would make all the difference. I am sure if you choose T2s and pit only once if at all, you'll win
qualify with it and wait to see when the comp goes in for pits, after the lap the comp pits at, it will igve you a good idea of how fast you need to go

I believe that it was Cam over at GTF that won it in an MR2.

The TK ZZS has been winding with a better split time than my previous run in the EVO.
