Smoke options

There are some types of tires irl that create more smoke then usual, or coloured smoke. I think it would be cool to see coloured smoke, but what if you were tandeming with 3? Wouldn't the colours be too much?
I agree with Spank, HP difference should make a smoke difference as well.

Grow a pair & drift through the damn smoke... learn the track, section, line or whatever you drift & stop crying about the damn smoke.
 
Damn... I thought of coloured smoke since 2010, I used to lie to my nfs friends gt will have coloured smoke and decals so they'd play it lol.

no no no.. it is a real driving sim ..
that gives you tons of options..
( witch is what, " Kaz " had in mind )

what do you think all of these updates are for ..
he and his crew are listening to the complaints,ideas etc...
of those who own the game

gt5 is no longer just a game its a " movement " :gtpflag:
that will be here for a while
so tweaking little things here and there ( such as low to no smoke )
is an inevitability..

Dude to tell you the truth you MUST be new to gt5 because before the 2.0 update the smoke sucked then they pumped it up in the 2.0 its kinda funny how all the rest of us can door to door tandem with trains of cars and you cant go practice up a little bit bro

FYI, this was posted months before you even joined GTplanet.

If you don't want smoke, drift in the rain. Best solution IMO :)

asking a simple question ..smoke on or off
and look and the responses....

drift in rain, go back to gt 4,
( and my favorite ) grow a pair and drift through the smoke. ..
blah blah blah...
son ive been "play"-ing games b4 they became a " station " so watch your words..
( i can probably out-drift you going backwards )

games are meant to be adjusted and optioned...
if you can adjust the slipstream,
change your tires,
adjust the time,
the weather,
damage,
then how come you cant adjust the smoke for drifting..
( and why is this suggestion seemingly out of bounds.)

it will really make drifting in the game muuuuuch more fun...
you dont have to turn it off .... just DOWN

Harden up, get over it. If you dont like it, go to Forza... Or GT4, or drift in the rain, Problem? Nope? Good. If this option was implemented, we can say bye bye to realism and start bringing in ridiculous options like having the grass not so tall on the Nurburgring or the Banking on Daytona not so bumping because its annoying to drive over.. Get over it and move on, simple as that.

Ha, even better, how about we get PD to implement an option to remove the Kurbing altogether on the Nurb because it makes it hard to drive faster?!?

Nice contribution to the topic.. And yes, I suck in air to breathe, if I didnt, I'd die, problem?

And yes, I am comparing the smoke option to that as thats about how unrealistic having a variable smoke option is. It should be variable, yes. It shouldnt be an option. It should vary depending on power, not a slider in the menu screen.

When you come in on your High and Mighty horse and claim to be able to out drift us in reverse, but you cant stand the smoke, I honestly couldnt care. Also, If I know my knowledge... If you drift in reverse, you have to look through the smoke that your rear wheels have created... Smart -claps sarcastically-

17, what of it? How does that change anything that has been said here? I hadn't said anything since the revival until you hopped in and called us all knuckleheads. At that point I just re-claryfied what had been said previously. I also stated that an option as unrealistic as what your proposing, we might as well chuck some more unrealistic, just as pointless, options in.
