I volunteered to do data entry, but I have lost editing access yet again. I don't know why this happens and I don't know how to fix it. Because of this I've been unable to enter the data from last week. Perhaps it would be best if someone else could do this job. It is so much easier now that there is a "Results" screen available. I have photos of the Results screens from last weeks races if that helps. I'll still do texting.

Because of this I've been unable to enter the data from last week. Perhaps it would be best if someone else could do this job. It is so much easier now that there is a "Results" screen available. You lost access again... as in this has happened before? Curious what changed / caused it to happen. Only thing I can think of is if you are using a non-google email to access the data sheet and the two don't play well together.

Yeah, this is the 2nd time that I have lost editing access, but JLBowler sent me another invite to edit and it worked, so were good for now. I have a Gmail account, so I don't know what is up. I'll try to be a bit more vigilant about what is going on when/if I lose access again.

Did anyone post replays. I have them and will post them shortly, if they haven't been posted already.

I just don't know what to say, but I have lost my data sheet editing access again. I haven't done anything to my computer, no updates, etc. I'm logged into my Google account. I'm willing to try another invite to edit, but it might be easier to recruit a new data specialist.

What I do is take a photo of the results screen (8 drivers per screen) on race night. Then you go to the data sheet and enter the gaps and fastest lap times and you're done. Access to edit the sheet must be requested from JLBowler. You can view the sheets as A Snail member, just can't enter numbers.

Edit: Some data entry people enter the data during breaks on Sunday night. I tended to do it in the next day or two as there isn't any time pressure, unlike scores, but it has to be all entered by the end of the month, which I just realized was Sunday. 😲 😂

I just checked an your email is still listed as an editor on the document. I don't know what the issue is but since you are the only person in SNAIL that has experienced this, if I had to guess, and it's only a guess, I would say that it is something on your end. Possibly a security setting or a firewall issue of some kind.

I agree, and I think it was WorstDriver doing scores and data for D1. I had a grade 11 student look at my problem and he found a solution within about 5 minutes. It seems there is an issue with using Safari and at present I've been shown how to resolve it, so my access is back @JLBowler. But, @TexHill it would be great if you would be my back-up.

Now I have to wait until school is over to enter data. 😁
