So just a general question for those who have bee in S.N.A.I.L. for a while. What are the requirments of moving up to D1?

I'm starting my 3rd year in Snail, so not the best resource. However, I did get promoted last summer, from div 4 out of 4 to div 2 out of 3. I'd had a couple of good seasons and apparently I wasn't hitting people as often, but as to the actual process I'm not sure. And, have you looked at the div 1 lap times? I don't want to go there...yet. :D But, I do watch their replays as learning tools.

The short, oversimplified, answer is to be the fastest guy in D2. There are other factors that could result in a promotion for a driver. Most of the time that is to level the numbers across divisions but even in that situation, the fastest guys move up first.

Thanks that's how I figured but with all the other analytics involved I wasn't sure if there was an odd method. Again thank you. Trying to figure the ins and outs of the league so far I am happy with the league I have improved myself as a driver for sure so for that I thank the community.

Hello all. I watched the replay of R2R1 from last night and have decided to file an IR on myself for causing @racingchamp30 to lose 2 places exiting Raidillon on lap one. There was jostling all the way from La Source and I made a couple of bad decisions, getting alongside @basswerks1, even though I think I established an overlap, was dumb and I didn't handle getting back behind them very well. I went off at Raidillon in sympathy with Bass. Rather than coast and brake I chose to keep my foot in it, contacting @Kakalaylay who then bunted RacingChamp off the track. I was aiming for the exit of the run-off area, but should have stayed much closer to the fence. Bass conceded to me when it wasn't necessary. I also conceded, OK by the time the dust settled I was in last.

I think a term or line of words i heard from Nascar is "rubbin is racing" It is alright, always a learning experience after the racing is done.
