Welcome to the July 2026 SNAIL Division 2 thread!

If you would like to volunteer for any roles please post in this thread and your name will be added to the role in question. I’m hoping the workers of last month will step again in July.

Snail is run by it’s members and D2 has many new members who may not realize this, so doing a job on race night makes it better for everyone involved. Volunteer for a role and then if needs be you can do it race night.

Easiest: Texter. Post messages in the lobby to randoms who should be encouraged to join Snail and asked to leave the lobby. It’s a cut and paste thing.
Easy: Replay Uploader. Save and share the replays according to Snail’s format for searching.
Involved: Host, Scorekeeper, Data Specialist.

If you can do the Tokyo 600pp race twice you'll get between 1.1-1.6mil. Will take a little less than an hour.

You have no idea how much I suffered to win that race...ON EASY! That race is riculous, there is no way on Earth the AI runs within regulations. Took me several ragequits, several cars, and ended earning more money than what I won 😂

I apologize for your suffering. :sick:

I've read, in the past, the AI, when difficulty is set to Easy, can actually be harder to beat. Set it to Normal. The only 2 you should have to actually beat are Kokubun and Suswillo. I just did this race a few days ago with my original grind car '16 Camaro SS on SH tires and some mods. When I first set this car up 2 years ago it was on SS tires. Polyphony Digital, in its infinite wisdom, has buffed that car's PP at least 3 times since then and I've had to change the tires to get it back under 600pp. It's slower on the back side of the course now and hits 199mph down the front straight. If you like, I can post the tune sheet for the car.

When i first started with this particular grind race, it took me several tries and tweaks to the car to reliably win.

Just FYI, we'll be racing that layout tonight. Without the wetness.
