Dependability in those positions prevents imposing on others or loss of records. Last minute scramble to find someone who CAN, or who has in the past, is usually non-productive.

It is a big responsibility and needs to be taken seriously. Our league is only successful when the members commit to sharing the load. SNAIL isn’t for Shell Hiders - everyone has a better experience when the work is carried by many, and not left to a small number.
 
I have not done data input yet and have not been trained on what is required.

Yes, I would think that you would need to be in the room for each race to get the required data that is tracked for each individual driver.

I will take on Division Manager and backup Texter

The only thing you really need for data are the replays, which are shared by the replay uploader. It does make it slightly easier if you’re there race night to take images/pics of the results but you can do with the replays from the timing screen.

Thats how I do mine. I find it very easy as well. This way I dont have to worry about taking screenshots or saving replays, because most times, I forget!

Hopefully, you’ve been given permission to access the ‘SNAIL data’ sheet on Google docs. If not, you’ll need to provide somebody like Rednose58 with your Google user account name. Once you have access, you are ready for a 5 minute explanation with anyone that has done data. For that you and the other person will agree on a time to start a chat party on the PS4.

I requested access through the spreadsheet. Though, as I think about it, don't recall entering my google account information. I'll message rednose alittle later this evening.

I had to look through some old posts and PMs. Rednose can’t help you out with access to the spreadsheet. JLBowler or CoachMK21 can and they need an email address (that you have associated to your Google account or if you don’t have a google account then I expect that you would have to create one). Start a PM with them.

Am I good for texting? HA! You’re damn right I’m good for texting. I’ve been training for weeks. I look in mirror and practice saying “get the f@$& out of this lobby its a private league event” 100 times before I go to bed. Then, when I wake up I say “get your lazy a$$ over to snailracing.org and sign up” 100 more times. I’m so serious about this I’ll open a room, wait until it’s full, then tell everybody to get f$&@ out. If they don’t, I’ll boot them and report them. So, am I good for texting? I’ve never been more prepared in my life.
