Bad news guys... I'm not racing tonight. Just came back from a wilderness camping trip. I had an accident on day 1. We tried to treat the wound to the best of our abilities but I'm on my way to the ER now to get it checked out.

We are in need of a scorekeeper tonight. Please volunteer

LOL... it's pretty bad LOL... I was just a stupit lady!! ( with a very very sharp knoife)

Luckily we take first aid kits with us. But I nothing to do the stitches with so the doctor will most likely be very mad at me

Yeah I cut the edge of my hand with a hatchet this afternoon... yet I'll still be racing lol
 
At least you know your knife is sharp. Your presence will be missed

It's 2 and a half hours before the green flag something tells me there will be more tail than just lobster.

Thanks guys. I'll be back next Sunday. The doctor said the jungle doctor did a good job in keeping the wound clean so no infection. He said it's too late for stitches, the wound has to heal on its own now. When we go camping like this we take a pretty extensive first aid kit with us. Maybe I should add a needle and some string!!

But when you wake up to mornings like this you know why you are there and the pain is forgotten
