How are you guys verifying finishing positions for the race that nobody got a replay from? Are there photos of the finishing screen? Did everyone get DC'd at the same time? Please explain the circumstances around the mass DC that didn't give anyone time to grab a replay.

Sorry for the late response , there was no way to take a picture it never booted that far .It was a glitch not a DC directly after the race had ended problems started .There is no procedure for what happened because you can not control a failure of this kind we tried .Leaving the room one at a time to see if we could save something but it would never boot back . Only the screen with our names and blank spaces with no data . I appreciate your help and know that you have seen a lot over the years and many nights of racing , we just did the best we could and failed .Sorry I will try to learn from this and move on and hope we do better next time . Thanks again for your help and concern in making it better your diligent work is what makes this league the best in the world and we are all thankful to be a part of it .We were not as lucky as others and have moved on .THANK YOU @JLBowler there is always the next race to look forward to it . :cheers:

Thank you for the explanation. If this would have been explained this well before the prize winners had to be announced, the division would have gotten a pass on the last replay. All I had seen when a decision had to be made was that the room had crashed. That's not a lot of detail to go on.

You're right in the fact that there is no procedure for that. The closest we have is under the fixed host rules for full room implosion which states that if they can't get the replay or two photos then they need to re-run the race. There is no way to expect you guys to know about that as you were not running fixed host. If it happens again, I would suggest having guys leave one at a time until the room unlocks. If someone is still looking at the track and not a results screen, start with that guy. It's usually one guy that is locked up similar to the game sticking on the loading screen in the lobby. Once that guy leaves, the room resumes to acting normally.

Sorry guys. That was supposed to go in the main thread and was not directed at anyone in D5. There was one open practice room and it's the same guy(s) that always have to be told to shut down their practice room.

I will be racing tonight, and without DL. first time actually racing without it. so expect me to be much slower than usual. i mainly use it for braking points, but i thought it was finally time to run without a crutch so to speak

I will be there so now that I am in for scorekeeping , replays , data and host I think we have it covered . I will do what ever is not taken .trying to type with the minions help ha ha .hope we get it right this week was a couple of late nights doing scorekeeping and data .Not much practice this week but still be there for the fun hope to see you all soon . :cheers:

So im at capital raceway at the moment waiting for mom to come pick me up and itll be about an hour and a half so im not racing tonight as i have zero practice and i would be a burden... Plus im trying to get into a routine of getting up on time. Meanwhile i get out the 10th but better late than never right? Good luck tonight everyone!!!
