not a single race mod amongst them. This is a disapointment. Now before anyone responds with, "I don't care about race mods and you shouldn't either", know that I do, and I'm happy for you if you don't.

I cannot understand why these are not included with new cars. Why even have the feature. There are 13 other race mods that I know exist and are not enabled. I like the race car pack just fine....but I would like my rx7 race trim in different classes tyvm.

I have been happy with each successive patch and have not been a complainer...other than complaining about incorrect stats on a few cars.

This is a real oversight imo. Including race mods coupled with a livery editor...or at least a few optional skins and a better lobby system....(team paddocks anyone) would likely create a lasting online racing community.

Also, the cooper still has no aeroparts at all....

That's easy! They are not called Racing Modifications any more, now they are Touring Cars! Eventhough half of them will never be accepted in any sanctioning body in the planet on a Touring Car Series...
But the point is, they are touring Cars now so the can take more money from us! wich is fine, but they should then focus in making "touring car" versions for every existing premium model inspired in their real life race car versions and the class they race on!

Can't agree with you more. I remember people complaining since they were pretty much just RM cars in the last DLC. I am looking forward to what GT5 still has to offer though!!

Those 15 cars are the missing rm I referred to. I don't consider an rm a different car. Those 15 "new" cars should have their trim made into rm for the appropriate cars as that is all they really are. It's greedy to ask that any car that is released be completed? If I cannot utilize the aero section or rm section of gt auto for a car I say that it is incomplete.

I agree with you. But it was just to make money of us. They could uave just updated the game allowing those cars of TC, to have RM modifications at the garage. Instead they just released, effectively RM versions of those models., and told us to pay for it. I think it was just a clever way of getting money or just trying to please us, because they had not finished any new cars.

And who knows, they might just do it again. But in my opinion, RM models seem like an easy thing to do, instead of modelling totally new cars, but i'm not a game developer, so i wouldn't know. But it effectively doubles the amount of cars you can buy, by just RM modeling your car. I would actually rather like them model more RM for cars, instead of new ones, but i'm a minority compared to people who want new cars.

You know, I don't mind paying for entirely new race concepts...like if the wanted to put an engine in the middle of an FTO throw some 4wd on it and call it LM. You can't do that with an rm. I would also pay for new wheel packs, different aero and trim options and probably standard upgrades to premium....but I do feel cheated buying pre tuned race modded cars they label touring cars...

So agree with you. I really get sick of complaining. Although I will say none of the DLC really held my interest this time. I did buy it though to support PD.

Over the past couple months you got Spec II, the GTR Schulze, 11 NASCARs, Spa, 15 RM'd cars, the Toyota 86, and the 4 new cars. You were given loads of stuff, you just had the choice of whether or not to take it. It is not PD's responsibilty to make the stuff free if it shouldn't be.

It would mean altering existing models....less would have complained if they released actual new cars with race mod options. And please do not tell me I don't know what modelling takes...I am proficient with blender and learning 3dsmax.

In all of my 36 years one thing I am determined to hold on to is a childlike lust for life. I did not make those statements to be cruel. It is a matter of fact that statements like "go work for pd if you can do better" are rampant on these forums. They are personal attacks and cheap mindless responses. I know that his response was, in fact, in jest...he prefaced the comment with as much. I still used the oportunity to point it out because I despise these tactics.

It is unfortunate that criticism of a product we all love causes some users of this forum to respond as if their mom has been insulted. It is likely that many threads on this forum are started by trolls to illicit visceral responses from unwary fan(boi)s. Trolling, the internets version of mom jokes....I find both of them humourus....which is indeed childish.

Critcism...the single most important ingredient for progress. Can this be better and how can we improve it....criticism serves to answer those often unspoken questions.

Also...I can't dodge the feeling that your remarks are not entirely genuine. I don't know you so I will assume that the are.

The events of this year, although harsh did not put PD out of business. As such, they are subject to a mostly satisfied customers criticism. Likely, they are the harshest critic of their work. Any successful company, or effective human understands and utilizes the benefits that pointed constructive critcism offers....in short, I doubt I've hurt their feelings.
