So about kart space...

I got that free family pack thing from the playstation store, as it was recommended as the solution to the problem, but I still don't have my Kart Space :( So for any of you that have encountered this problem, how, if at all, did you fix it?
 
Have you clicked the download button when on the main screen of the actual gt5 game?
 
Did you install it by clicking on the red button on the GT5 startup screen? That would be my first thought.
 
OK so everything is installed on my gran turismo menu, but kart space isn't showing up! What do I do?

If you've downloaded it, then it should be under Original Circuits. If you can't find it, then you've done something wrong.
 
It isn't, and I do not how to proceed. I paid for it, downloaded it, installed it, and drove it a few times. Then, PD took it away from me? (I haven't a clue as to what the origin of this problem is). I was hoping someone who has gone through this could help me out. Also, I noticed that the free download that allowed for multiple Playstation-User use isn't available on the playstation store anymore.
 
Ok so I went into the PS store and redownloaded the track pack. It downloaded and installed, and when I hit the GT5 DLC arrow at the menu, it said it was already installed. However, kartspace is no where to be found.
 
Are you looking under Original Circuits? The only other thing I can think of is deleting the game data(not game save). Back up your save file before doing this, as well as exporting any photo/replay's you may want to the XMB.

I think I'll just delete the game data and reinstall, after backing up my save of course. Much thanks.
 
Wait, did you download the free family pack or did you download the track pack? The family pack only makes it so the paid DLC can be spread through all the accounts on your PS3, but does not include anything.
 
I know, but it was said in an earlier thread that that had worked for someone. Like I said above, I did re-download the Spa/Kart Space dlc from the ps store, but it seems that was all i did, because when I entered the gt5 dlc menu in game, it had already been installed. And when I checked the original tab, kart space was not there.

Did you download and install both of the family packs? One is for the original car pack and the other is for the original track pack.
 
I don't think I've downloaded the car family pack. I guess i'll give that a shot before i delete game data.

I was just pointing out that there were two separate family packs. I thought you may have just downloaded and installed the one for the cars and missed the one for the tracks. Double check that you have the one for the tracks.
 
Ok guys, I just deleted and reinstalled all of the game data, and STILL no kart space! D: I seriously don't know what to do and am really frustrated.. -__-
 
another question I wanted to ask was about this redownloading thing in the 2.02 update? When I searched this issue, people said that they could redownload the dlc and it worked fine? Do they mean from the psn store or from the red button menu on gt5?
 
From the PS Store. What you do, is when you load up the store, scroll across the top of the menu. You should see 3 or 4 little buttons in the top right corner, one of the says "View Downloads", click on that and you can redownload any of the DLC.

Nick, are you looking for Kart Space in Arcade mode? that's where it is... not in GT mode if you're looking there.

Kart Space can be used in GT Mode using the practice feature.
 
you know what, I think it is my save file. I logged onto my other psn account on the same ps3 and kart space 1 & 2 were there. So for now, I think I'll just switch to the other account if I'm in need of some kart space.
 
If anyone has been unable to find the Course Pack DLC that includes Spa and Kart Space I and II, it can be purchased online and the code received from Gamestop.com. That is where I found it since it does not appear on the Playstation Store. Gamestop issues the 12 digit code that works on the Playstation Store. Same price, $4.99US. Can also be bought in-store (I got mine). Take the register receipt with the code and enter it on the PS3. The DLC will show up for download and install. Sony update may have put it back on the store, not sure.
