I've got one at class 23 and one at class 13. My B-Spec Level is 22. (right now I'm in the middle of the Tokyo Super GT race). I don't care too much for B-Spec because it's painful watching your driver fall behind in races you could easily win in. The level of incompetency they have is kinda ridiculous. For the events where the requirements make all the cars somewhat fairly matched at best, it's almost impossible to win unless you're a few levels higher. On the flip side, not having to be fully attentive to a race while your driver(s) earn you cash is kind of nice. And also, since I did most of A-Spec before even looking at B-spec, I already have great cars which most of the time can make up for the drivers' terrible driving skills. I liked B-Spec better in GT4 where I would just use it for the really long endurance races instead of having a whole mode dedicated to it.

Dang 28? you almost have yourself an X1 there buddy.(level 30 ITS FREE!!!)

I thought level 30 is when the Challenge is unlocked :P, Im only doing it so i can make Cr while doing other stuff since im only a few races off level 25 in a-spec and I want to buy some proper machinery for the endurance races

I agree, i mean my guy spun out in a FORMULA GRAN TURISMO, an waited till the whole field passed by an then came back on the track, then my stupid driver cost me half a mill in repairs on my old car ( a jaguer).

I like it... Got to level 20 in A spec before I tried it and that helped a lot since I have quite a few great cars... I just turn it on whenever Im surfing the net or cleaning the house & I'm now at level 14 with golds throughout 👍

In that case if I have a proper b-spec xp farming session then half a to a day at most :sly:

Yeah i was level 25 a, an got bored so i started doing b spec like 2 hours ago, already level 10. i have great cars so its real easy, ill have a cap card for christmas to record all my vids on gt5, so i can show how dumb the AI's can be :)

Nice, the only reason im doing it cause its fun. I wanted to see whats its like in the endurance races an see how the pit stop an driver swap is.

Just got my B-Spec driver, G. Pace, to level 24 after he just won the FGT championship. He averaged almost 2 seconds a lap faster than the 2nd place car on every track. He's a beast!

👍

Haha I had my star driver at like level 20something 27 I think doing the NASCAR event I have to say I was impressed an AI spun on the Grand Valley straight and he actually avoided a huge pile up I even shouted at the tv go on my son :sly:

Lol.

B-spec sucks.

Enough said.

Can't wait to be done with it, and the stupid AI driver, that even my grandma could outdrive. The incompetence is overwhelming, and the mode itself seems boring and unfinished. No fast forward, no race-long orders, and doing 5 laps (15 minutes) of babysitting is nowhere near worth the measly few hundred XP/credits.

It's comical. It's like the AI is telling my AI to not remember that he hit the wall in the same spot the last lap, or that he spins out on the same turn (whether I say slow down or not). But I hear it gets better at level 10 and much better at 20 so I'll tough it out. Just hit level 5, no pun intended.

True, BUT it can be fun?

Nothing really special or elaborate, just what I used for the same championship in A-Spec.

All I did was set top speed to 230mph, oil change, increase downforce to maximum, adjust brakes (F-6, R-3), and make sure he was driving 75 ~100%. Barely had to pay attention to him, but he took his sweet time taking the lead in each race (up to 10 laps, a couple times). Once he had the lead, though, he put on a mean pace.

Note: My FGT has not had engine rebuild or chassis refresh done to it.

Ohh ok thanks, Ive rebuilt the engine, chassis, an oil. I need the best for my guys lol.

I am at level 29 B-Spec right now, going to start Bob on the Indy 500 before I go to bed should be level 30 when I get up or very close to it at least.

My FGT is getting weaker by the race but still lapping people even with the worn out engine and twisted chassis. :)

Lol goodluck, an why is everyones guy named bob?

True, BUT it can be fun?

I had a laugh watching b-spec Bob doing drifts in the Cougar XR-7, while Japanese k-cars passed him on both sides... I wasn't laughing when he decided to just park in the middle of the track for 5 seconds... 4 times. :grumpy: :dunce:

Fun would be if I did the races myself... and that's called A-spec.

Yes but when you get higher (endurance races) it will pay off, you jus send him in a nice good car, an go to sleep :)
