I have just started the B Spec yesterday,up to level 8,I have finished the begineer series and have completed the first 3 races in amatuer.I do find it not as exciting as the A spec series and what is annoying is having to constantly adjust the pace orders, each order, whether it be speed up or maintain, does not even last for a lap,so you are giving 3 or 4 orders per lap to do the same order

Well as you get higher it gets more funner, trust me.

I think, with regard to future patching, B-Spec should implement a mileage counter, mpg counter, splits vs old time, and sector monitor to assign orders. It'd make the game so much more interesting and strategic with just that...

Only at B-Spec level 13 at the moment.👍

As soon as I earn enough credits to Race Mod my ZR-1 I'll go back to B-Spec.

B-spec is irritating and stupid. I hate it because it´s not an option, it´s an integral part of the carrear.

The Nascar champio´nship on b-spec in infuriating.

The AI takes stupidity to a whole new level.

I'm getting along with B-spec okay. Since it's obviously a more integral part of the game than GT4, I simply must make the best of it. By level 17 it's making important credits and prize cars all by itself with no superintending.

"So hows B-Spec for evreybody?" :dopey:

Hate it, HATE IT, HATE IT...

I just don't get it... I didn't buy a car racing game to have to sit there for HOURS watching someone ELSE driving my cars, and HAVE to do it just to unlock some of the cars or grind for credits. Only good thing about it is I can over-muscle for a race, so I can set my driver as cool as possible, and then go to sleep... because nothing is as yawn-inducing as this miserable excuse for a game section.👎

You know the BEST update Kaz could deliver us? Especially as we have been SO short-changed with respect to A-Spec events?

Play all B-Spec events as A-Spec.

If I want to be a spectator, I'll go to the bloody races in person (I like going to ALMS races in the US). I bought this game so I could DRIVE. :banghead:

Im about to be level 17, :)

Just noticed my B-spec drivers are now showing in my profile !

No need to set them online anymore (you cant anyway)

This "maintenance" must be for the new b-spec stuff on internet (cant remember the name)

Anyway im stuck on gran turismo all stars championship :( keep trying to win with my fully tuned minolta but no luck.

Hahahahahahaha, dont set your drivers cool cause when you sleep they go to cool an slow down.

Well Bob just won the Like the Wind Level at his First Attempt so I got the Toyota 7 Race Car as a Prize :D

What pisses me off though its a 18 Lapper at INDY for 38.000 cr in B-Spec :grumpy:

Where as in A-Spec its a 5 Lapper for 98.000 cr

Talk about making the Game longer for no reason 👎

It's totally optional. I know a couple of guys who haven't played it, and what are they missing? Nothing.

If it's an integral part of the career then so is Photo Travel.

Well apperently they ARE missing out, you get X1 level 35 , I just got 3 700+hp cars only level 16.

Im at level 12 b-spec

BOB is a ****ing retard!!!!!

I´ve never been so frustrated over a game/AI. Where the hell did bob get his racing license ?

PS: maybe because i named him W.GAY?

I think it's a great. When I need a break from racing I B-Spec.

I really wish you could give them a command not to drop below a certain point for the entire race. That way I could leave them knowing they won't lose because they got too cool and let people pass them.

It will be much better when the website is available and when you can race other player's Bob's.

And if you could tell them to pit or swap drivers randomly,

Finished the NASCAR championship, again. I don't know why people are having trouble with that, it's not hard at all. My guy won all of them handily.

The only B-Spec race I've had trouble with at all is the Historic race at Cote d Azur. Best I've done there so far is silver with the Toyota 7. He's just not good at that track.

Currently racing Indy American race in Expert, should be level 24 after this. Then it's time to go looking for the FGT in the used car lot.

People say that in the level 20s they get a lot better but my driver still drives like Simple Jack. God this mode sucks. It's terrible and annoying. Slowing down and tailgating is not an effective strategy, early braking on turns is not an effective strategy, plowing through an opponent that has crashed instead of going around him is NOT an effective strategy. I'm at level 23 and still can't complete that Cote D'azur historic race which is back at level 16. I know it's him and not the car because the first place driver was in the same car I was using! He's also not competent enough to win the newest races I have access to.

And on top of that, leveling up in this game BLOWS. I just finished the Indy 500 in A-spec and it only got me half way to level 29. On top of that, the next endurance race is at level 30. Why can't they have it so you can just naturally progress through the game and have access to the next race after you've completed the prior ones instead of having to grind through these same old boring ass endurance races. I feel like I've got arthritis after doing some of these damn things I don't want to do it again.

Well say hello to B-Spec.

I've been watching Netflix on my computer while he plays. Normally I would watch Netflix on my PS3, but, well, yeah.

I can direct him through most any race, even some tough ones, while browsing and watching Monty Python's Flying Circus.

Im on Gtplanet.com while he races.:) and homework :(

The only problem that I have is that there's no confirm when leaving a B-Spec race. All you have to do is bump O and then hit X and you've quit, just like that. I've done it by accident already.

One guy did it in the middle of an endurance race.

Thats why my controller sits on a flate desktop without me near it until the race ends(or I have to tell retarded bob to hurry his *** up)
