You have no right to pass on the outside,

No right = against the rules, or against the law, = illegal. As far as I know a driver has every right to attempt to overtake on the inside, outside, or on his backside if he wants to, as long as he can reasonably get past without wiping himself and the other man out.

P.S. It's kind of hard to respond to your arguments without ignoring bits of your posts, because you contradict yourself so much.

I can't help it if your level of reading comprehension is insufficient to catch the fine distinctions. :) You're reading things into my words, and then calling it contradiction.

Your misreading of 'You have no right to pass on the outside' is a fine example. You read that to mean illegal. But I did not say it was illegal. That's a leap you took on your own. And then you say I contradict myself based on your own misunderstanding.

Let me spell it out for you very carefully. Now try reading my words rather than adding your own.

The lead car is required to grant racing room to a trailing car which comes up further than half a car length on his inside. The rule is meant to curb blocking behaviors. You are not allowed to 'slam the door' on a car which has successfully gotten under you.

There is no such protection for a car which attempts to pass on the outside of the turn. You are within your rights to force him out onto the grass.

It's not illegal for the trailing car to attempt such a pass. And when they do, it's a bold move which is relying on the lead car to want to avoid contact even though technically by the rules he could get away with it because it would be considered the outside car's fault. Rarely, you see the outside pass done successfully. But attempts are rather uncommon. And usually the lead car won't put up with it.

Does that makes sense to you now or do I need to get out the sock puppets? :)
