So, I drove a Mazda B-series pickup into a House today.

At least it was a B-series, which is practically the most worthless truck on the market today. 👍

Yeah, $5000 is a lotÂ… my friend rear-ended his F-150 at 40mph, and it cost him less than $1000 to repair. Granted, he smashed into the back of a RAV-4, which absorbed a lot more energy than a house would, but $5k still sounds high. I wouldn't know though.

I really don't believe my boss either with his 5k guess.

It needs: New pushbar, right side fender, hood, front bumper, and maybe some un-bending of internals.

Now that I think about it, that doesn't sound anywhere close to 5k

Once, a friend and I pulled into a sloping driveway in my Tiburon (5 speed), and I neglected to put it in gear or pull the e-brake (which is odd, as doing those things are a pretty strong habit). We got out of the car and when we heard "YOUR CAR IS MOVING!!!" from somebody inside. We both dove headfirst into each door trying to stop this thing - it took me a few seconds to stop attempting to reach the clutch to put it in gear and instead pull the e-brake. Fun times.

That's rough, but at least you'll never make that mistake again.

Don't let MazKid hear you! Ford Rangers/B-series weren't bad small trucks a few years ago, but with the new Colorado and Tacoma, they have some catching up to do.

I still put the Ranger and B-series among my favorite small trucks - they're mediocre in every aspect, and dealers discount them to hell so they're usually good deals. A two-year-old B4000 is one of the better values in the market.

I want pictures!

Granted!

Or did you have something specific in mind?
