So I Pre-ordered GT4 on Amazon...

If anybody finds sweet deals for Europeans, please post em here... I'm looking for best deal for new PStwo, GT4, DFP, memorycard and S-video cable... the whole lot :)
 
I've pre-ordered mine from the Game website, here in the UK, they're not the cheapest around but it does mean I should receive it on the day of release (March 9th).
 
I'm also wondering what to do, I can get the game from amazon uk for 51,55 Euros, but chances are I'm nog going to get it on the 9th of march. But if I would buy it in a store it would cost me 69,94 Euros. They are ripping us off. US had to pay $50
 
I reserved a copy at gamestop but their slow asses didnt get it till a day later so I went out and bought it from eb games..

Would that be too late to do now for us in the UK? As many will have pre-ordered it already I mean.. I ordered from Amazon too and they now say "ships 12-14th March".. I really don't want to wait if I don' have to.. Though I have gotten things from them a day or two early from them before.. Hmm.. Advise?

If you mean is it too late to order from gameplay the answer is no. I preordered aplaenty of games on Tuesday evening and got it on thurday morning ( the day before release). You still have plety of time to order GT4 from there if you want.
Amazon arnt best known for getting your games when they are released.
 
I've ordered my copy from GamePlay.co.uk - mainly because they have a reputation for getting the game to you the day before release. Also ordered MGS3 so will be interested to see if it arrives a week today. 💡

As our postie doesn't usually arrive until lunchtime - I'll be off to GAME wednesday morning to buy it if I don't have it already. GAME have a 16 day return policy so it doesn't matter if it's unopened or not, if I take the online ordered one back. :)

im getting MGS3 from there aswell :)
 
I've got GT4 coming from Gameplay as well, they mangaged to get GT2 to me the day before release and are pretty cheap as well (£29.99 + £1 shipping). I ordered it on the 7th of Feb and they are listing dispatch date as either the 7th or 8th of March. Looks to be a good bet that I'll get it the day of release or day before.
 
man, march 19th? geez... i was about to order my gt4 off of amazon too! lmao... i ordered gt4 from buy.com like a week before it's release date and it comes in tomorrow. i had a really bad experience with best buy once so i never preordered from them again. i've also had probelms when i used to order amazon.com with that super shipping savings junk. they'd send it through usps, and from my experience, they are so damn slow. if i had a car over where i am, i probably would've driven and got the game in-store rather than online actually.

cancel the order and order buy.com, gamestop, or ebgames. that's what i'd do.

yeah youll be fine. Do it within a week and your well safe :)

I really would recomend gameplay to everyone like me who are impacient for games
 
I preordered mine from ebgames.com (I placed the order a couple weeks ago) and it shipped on the 22nd (i.e. Tuesday) just as the site said and showed up yesterday (as I had it shipped overnight). Same experience with my GTA: San Andreas pre-order a few months back. :) Thanks for the tip for not pre-ordering at Amazon, though...I'll keep that in mind.

BTW, ebgames.com still shows them as "usually ships within 24 hours" even now.
