So i im goign to be making a cockpit with a racing seat and the DFP and im going to make my own pedals with a clutch (for computer). Now that i have spent my money on a welder im thinking of making some aditional ones. I dont know what the price would be but probably around $500, with a seat and DFP. They could be custom made to what ever u want i was origionaly thinking of just making it a bare frame but now im thinking of making it an actaul cockpit with sheet metal around it. Would anyone be interested in buying one if i made more? do u think i could start a business with this?

Well $500 for a cockpit and DFP and seat is to much only the extreme gamers would buy something like that. 300 seem about right for a basic cockpit. But then u cn make better ones that sell for 500.
 
i dont have a pic yet cause i havent made it yet. The seat is 200 and the dfp is 100 which equals 300. Plus the cost of teh padals, materials, and labor. Id say thats a fair price
 
Actually I don't think this thread is AUP friendly. You are talking about selling stuff which I'm pretty sure is against the rules.
 
you can buy a premade cockpit with a place to put a tv and yur ps2 and wheel for $90....why would one buy one for $300-500?
 
cause this isnt going to be some pos and it comes with the wheel and a racing seat. You can also buy a bare frame for $400 and pedals for the same amount
