Ok well i have enought money to buy technicaly any car i want.

Im on the search for a new Project car. I want this car to be a good drift , road car, and drag car. I know it sounds Impossible! but i know there is one out there.

I DO NOT LIKE LM OR LMP CARS OR FORMULA 1 CARS! i hate the fact that they're already tuned.

I want a production car.!

Any help?

How about an RX-7. They can run with a Viper SRT10 in the drag, they're pretty good on the track, and they're great drift cars. I would suggest the viper, as it's insanely fast on the track, but it doesn't drift all that well....at least not for me.

im sorry , im not an ID fan. i hate the TRUENO! worste toyota production car ever!

i have an STI , not the C spec. i hate that the C-spec doesnt have the V7 wing.!

i have a supra but i dont like the acceleration on it, i feel it too slippy.

i need more suggestions.

You can try the evos and skylines. Both are great all around cars.

I also heard that the M3 could be made into a great drift car. And it is a good track car, but I don't know how good its drag strip performance is though.

How about the Nissan R390 Road Car? or the Tommy Kaira ZZII, or the Toyota Supra RZ?

I'm not sure how you can justify that... Toyota's made a lot worse cars. Everybody thinks Initial D made the AE86 famous, what a crock. It was a popular rally/track car years before Initial D was made. They're a cool little car with good handling and enough potential to make them worthwhile modifying in GT4.

Actually, ID did make the Trueno popular in the US. Without ID, drifting likely would have never caught on here (or at least it would still be struggling), and nobody would even know about the Trueno on this side of the Pacific. I certainly had never heard of one before I saw Initial D.

Oh, and the R390 probably won't make a very good drifter, although it is the fastest production car in the game around a track (from personal experience). I doubt the ZZII drifts very well either. I'd still take the Viper or RX7 if I wanted an all-purpose car :D

Buy any Beemer... the 330i is a good sleeper, while the M3 CSL or GTR can do just about anything well.

If you're looking for something you probably haven't tried or think is unusual, what about an S3? those break traction fairly easily and drift controllably.

By definition, race cars are tuned. You cannot run an R8 on a stock Audi transmission, with "economy" tires.

Try bmw 2002turbo. I don't know how it does at drag racing (I'm guessing something like 11s), but it's quite excellent at drifting and racing -- u just swap tires and u have created a whole new beast. :)

Try a TVR, Triumph for a change of pace, AC Cobra, Shelby GT500, Amuse S2000GT1, Toyota 2000GT, Nissan Skyline sport (has anyone here actually found out why this car costs 320,000Cr?) for a shock. Theres tonnes of cars to choose from that provide different experiences.

If there's anything GT4 cannot be accused of, it's lack of variety.

People whinge about the 30 Skylines - ignoring the fact they go from 1967 up to the present, and include 7 race cars and several tuner versions. People also whinge about all the Evos - maybe a fairer point, though at least this time they've got at least one of each, and no stupid TME (Stripe).

But cut all of those out from the game and you've STILL got 700 cars. Don't like the Model T and two 1886 Mercedes? *slice* - though they are testament TO the variety of GT4. What other game has cars spanning 120 years (not including the ridiculous "2022" Nike - if I wanted pure fantasy cars I'd get a piece of paper)? No doubt people will also want to cut out anything below 200hp, or 10s to 62mph because "they're too slow" (usually meaning they can't drive unless the world is blasting by at 200mph and they use the barriers to stay on the track). Still leaves nearly 400 cars there, ranging from early 1960s FRs to early 21st Century computers with crankshafts. Every drivetrain is represented at least a half-dozen times. More-or-less any type of driving you want to do is there for you.

As l4s points out, you've got S2000s, Shelbys, the Spitfire, nearly a full complement of TVRs, the Jensen Interceptor... The E-Type...

There is no lack of variety in GT4. Merely a lack of imagination from players.

try a FPV F6 Typhoon, its a good drift car, loads of torque with a new turbo, it comes stock with 550NM! it goes quick around a track and sounds very nice. its also cheap aswell.

yes TVRs are fast ina straight line but most of them understeer like ($^*%*&$ anything and its hard to get them sideways coz every time you steer them the tires screech and screech till your off the track, tuning it may make a difference though.

and i agree with what Famine said 👍

How about the Plymouth Cuda 440 Six Pack? It might be a little heavy, but you can get so much torque out of it that the weight really doesn't matter.

I would go with either an NSX or a TVR Cerbera Speed 6. good all rounders my opinion of corse, good drifters good speed and conering ability and also not too bad down the strip either.

And i do agree on what Famine posted.

Though i think my taste of car is much different then him , i prefer a car that will take me around a turn in a faster time, thena 70's car that takes the turn in twice the time.

I just simply dont like the old 70's cars.

Well thanks alot for the suggestions

I think im gonna go with the (98') S4 👍

Why don't you give a TVR V8S a try, fully tuned it is loads of fun, easy to drift and considering it doesn't have that much horsepower it is very quick.

The Amuse S2000 street version is fun to drift if a little finicky around corners - that can be tuned out.

The Nissan Silvia (S15 is my favorite) is hork-loads of fun if a little low on power. Nothing drifts better.

I am also learning to love the 300ZX. It seemed like such a bear at first - especially when I started messing with setting up the suspention. But, when I started driving like the car wanted to be driven it was a very satisfying drive. Very few other cars can out drag it, when done right it corners like it was meant to do nothing else and although drifting with it is a challange it is one of those cars that has amazing talent once discovered. 👍

I like lightweight. I don't care where or when it's from. Just for this, combined with power and exhaust note, I love the TVRs, especially the Griffith (in real life moreso). If you want a fast car in a straight line, a prodigious drift car and something to take you around a turn in a faster time, the Griffith is your man.

Just get a car that u like. If you don't know much about its performance try it! You don't like it get another car and try that one. You say u got alot of money so u should have no problem!
