so PSN is down, but....

so i understand psn is having some downtime today... okay. i can't sign into my main account, get error 8002A203. i can eventually get into my netflix instant view queue, but it won't let me view anything without logging onto psn first. so i start up GT5 whilst offline. guess what? i cannot take any of my b-spec drivers offline because i'm not logged on. there wen't my idea for a b-spec 9 hour endurance race... and i can't watch my shows on netflix...

THEN.... i switch over to the other account on my ps3, and i can log into psn no problem, start up GT5, do a couple remote races, still logged into psn. switch back to main account on ps3, still cannot connect to PSN...

what's going on with that?
 
What time did you try to log on at if 8:00 am you i can see why but if past 8:00 and u got on your 2nd psn account that's something I don't know
 
If I would've known, I would've took one of my B-spec drivers offline. But this "downtime" has locked them all and I can't get them to race offline.

We need an update where each user is able to race their B-spec drivers offline, even if they are being "shared".
 
It appears you have to be online to host a remote race at the least. For the time being, any B-spec driver you shared with your friends remain online.

I was earlier today. But then I logged off so I could log back on and see if my brothers drivers would show up online yet, and now I can't get back on (forgot about the scheduled maintenance). Seems as though if you were logged on prior to the maintenance starting you're ok. If you're offline now, you won't be getting back on till 7 PM PST.
 
Best if I don't turn off my PS3 then. I've been online since 11 AM EST (exact time I should have been forced offline) remote racing with no issues.
 
i tried to log onto primary account again after being logged into secondary. nothing. logged back into 2nd account no problem. even did an online b-spec race (from the console, not my computer). tried to log into primary again, no go. now i can't log into either account. cant take my shared drivers offline either, so no b-spec endurance races for me today.

apparently you HAVE to be logged into the PSN in order to watch netflix through the ps3 too... oh well...
