Well another season gone but this time Ferrari and Shumi didn't win!! At the start of the season i wasnt too happy about the new rule changes and the first time the cars rolled into the pit just for fuel looked WEIRD! but this season has been one of the most intresting and exciting i have ever watched and produced some brilliant racing and also very good reliability from all teams. We also saw the crowning of the youngest ever World Champ, a record i think will stand for a long time.

heck yea. I totaly loved this season. I remember after 2004, I knew Alonso and Renault would win in 2005. when I said that, people were like "yea, whatever. Schumacher Ferrari will win......again." then the Australian GP 2005 happened, and people were like "well, mmm" then Bahrain and Malaysia happened. and people thought about it. then finally Imola happened and people said, "yea, you suck". hah.
Go Alonso!

rock.

I think this is a no brainer!! Suzuka was by far the best. I haven't been that entertained by F1 in a long time. I want lots more races like that! 👍

For me it was Imola... symbolic of the transfer of power from the old to the new...

I never saw the Suzuka race :( :indiff: (although I saw the last few laps of the highlights  )

Actually, come to think of it, I never saw the last three laps of Imola either! (thanks to the cretins at ITV...)

Yea. The only problem with Suzuka was that it made Shanghai seem REALLY boring! :grumpy:

Suzuka GP really stands out in my mind. Raikkönen cleaned house.

*waits for someone to vote for Indianapolis :p

debut?

i still like suzuka the most because i'm a supporter of kimi. And waht kimi did in japan was just amazing.

and i also like suzuka alot after driving on it (in gt4 :sly: )

or a huge Ferrari/Jordan/Minardi fan

Well, Imola was nice with the only time Schumacher had a serious chance to win and that he kept pushing to Alonso, but Alonso defended brilliant.

Suzuka was also a nice race with the 130R move and the last-lap-overtake move :)

Bit off-topic:
This season was much better than 2001, 2002 and 2004.
2001 was too early decided and the year we all could see that Hakkinen didn't want to race another year. 2002 and 2004 were just too boring.

2000 was a nice championship and the last year there was a serious Hakkinen vs Schumacher battle (Spa 2000 :D ).
2003 was interesting with only 2 points between Kimi and Michael at the end of that season. Kimi just won one race that year, but he finished 7 times in 2nd position.

Japan it is! Of course, I'm partial to the races I can actually watch live. (I didn't see Imola at all :()

Suzuka, Imola, Istanbul, Monte Carlo. Based on what I can remember. Which is little.

Suzuka was that good? I missed it, damn it. :(

I voted Imola.

1 suzuka
2 imola
3 hungary qualifying

suzuka was the only race that really made me say "wow".
i'm no kimi fan but seeing that last-lap wonder really made
me respect the guy. seeing alonso push hard after having
race after race of sandbagging was also nice. that leading
into china was good with all the constructors drama and
whatnot.

imola because it was the first grand prix i'd ever watched.
seeing michael schumacher chase down fernando was something
to see and turned me into an f1 fan from that point on.

hungary qualifying was like a flash of brilliance from michael that
hadnt been shown much due to lack of equipment but something was
right with that car on that day and he put in a beautiful lap that really
made me appreciate his undeniable skills as a driver.

MY Order

1. Suzuka, Japan
2. Imola, San Maino
3. Interlagos, Brasil (first 1,2 for the team of McLaren YeeeeeH)

1st: Suzuka: This race was somethign special, it had everything, overtaking, contraversy, driver skill, driver stupidity, possibly the great pass i will ever witness (Alonso + MS X 130R outside line). Truly amazing race and probably the best of alot of driver's careers.

2nd: Istanbul: Before this race i was thinking, "Joy... another Tilke cricuit, Barhrain is nothin special and China is poo, Malaysia is half decent at best." So I was nto expecting too much, after the race I was happilly proven wrong, the track wants you to overtake on it, which people did.

3rd: Spa: I always love this race, theres somethign about it that makes drivers either seem like heros or villains, the heros: Kimi and Monteiro, the villain: Sato, it wernt the best race that has taken place on the hills of Spa, but it was exciting to watch.

I still can’t bring myself to say Monteiro did a great job at Spa. He hit Trulli and forced him to retire and he finished 8th when 7 people retired. Yes, it was ok, but not great.

Well i guess that will always be against him but other wise he did drive a nice race, got a jordan into the points.... a 2005 jordan.

I would say Suzuka followed by Monaco and then San Marino. I don't really remember all the races.

Obviously Suzuka was the best race. I haven't seen a race that good since like a really good battle Hakkinen vs Schumacher, with Irvine and Villneuve on the sides and stuff.

I voted for Monaco though, just to be different. So here's my opinion.

1. Suzuka
2. Monaco
3. Spa!
