Just curious if anybody else on the boards is as much of a rally racing fan as myself. I love rally racing games and if judging by how much fun PGR2 is, I really hopeful that MS will deliver with RSC2.

thanks for the link. I saw it already, but i was just curious of how many people were thinking of picking it up. But thanks for the link.

this is off topic I know but has anyone here played tokyo extreme racer 3 yet? I just bought mine yesterday and so far I'm both impressed and dissapointed at the same time. the physics are even harder to compensate for, but the tuning options are now through the roof. well, you cant complain when it costs 20 bucks I guess...

I played the first two. The first one being on DC, and the second one being on PS2, but I haven't bought the 3rd one. From what i've read its better and worse, kinda like what you're saying. I don't know, i've always liked the aspect of that series in what it lets you tune, but always racing at night kinda gets to me after a while. And i've always thought the AI in that series was a little suspect.

And believe it or not, I've actually been on the highway system in tokyo this past summer, and it truly looks just like that at night. I was cracking up when we were on a bus in tokyo going down the highway. The barriers and the lights and dead on.

its frustrating that you can tune your car up real badass then when it comes to actually driving it, it aint so thrilling. It's kind of like a barbie makeover type program, but with cars.

Anyone else still playing this? It is such an incredible game I am surprised it isnt talked about more on this site. Reading the recent "Pikes Peak" thread reminded me of this game. RSC2 has to be the best rally game ever made. The online is just as amazing as the single player. Ice tracks, dirt, tarmac. Some of the tracks are sooooo long. The mountain races up the hills with all the mud and rocks is about as impressive as it can get for rally. Especially when you bring the Escudo up it. Nothing but hair pin turns all the way up the hill. :thumbs up:

The other great thing I forgot to mention is that your time trials are transfered online automatically and you can see how your times are compared to everyone else online in the world. If I remember correctly some of my times were within the top 100. It is extremly hard to get within the top 100. Some of my other times were around the 300 range. And you can completely adjust your car to help you get your best time possible. All your records and track times online are also saved so you can see how you compare to other online members. You can even have 16 people on a rally course at 1 time!!!! I will have to try to get some more time into this RC2! 👍

Figure 8 racing is the bomb... And Hillclimb too!! Unfortunately I don't have a X-box and all I can do is play the demo at gamestores.... I played the first one on mu and it was great (aside from crappy graphics and slowdowns caused by my crappy computer) ... The second one seems way better!! That dumb ps2 in the U.S. don't carry any good rally games so I'm stumped!! Anyways this would be the first game I would get if I get a X-box!!
