SOCOM Game

is it worth it to buy SOCOM 1 and get the mic for only 40 bucks cause it's a greatest hits title?{haven't been to wal-mart lately,but i remember seeing it now it's a greatest hit}
or
would it just be better to get SOCOM 2 and then put out another $20-40 bucks for a mic?

buy it with the mic, it is more expensive to buy each one seperately

When I bought it, I didn't get a Mic, I was going to buy the first one So I could have it, but I haven't gotten around to it.

I dont see how people can enjoy it. There are so many annoying people in each game, and the chatter is a pain...and argh!

It is worth it, the graphics are real good but you dont need the micophone anyway you can just play it with out the microphone because its much easier.

I just picked up Socom 2, a mic, and a ps2 network adapter for $100.00 from eBay.

I haven't played Socom 1 or 2, what's the learning curve?

Are any of you playing S2 online?

I got a couple of gift cards and some money for x-mas. I was thinking of blowing it all on Socom 1&2, a network adapter, and the headphones. I don't really like blowing all my money like that so i would also like to know if it's all worth it. Tell us about the online play and stuff like that. Is it fun or just annoying? Info please.
