Solid State HDDs?

That's pretty cool. They should make a computer using those drives and MRAM. It would be costly, but I would like to see how it compares to our conventional computers.
 
As cool as a flash memory HDD (well, it wouldn't really be a HDD would it?) sounds, I think the industry is more interested in optical storage - like making absurdly massive holographic discs that will take a year to burn...

But if they ever do make a flash memory drive that is big enough to replace my trusty magnetic platters (~250GB) and is cheap enough, I'll be first inline to get one. 👍
 
A 32GB would be enough to hold Windows and be used as a supplement to a larger drive wouldn't it? It's really just a matter of the prices becoming affordable first. :)
