Solo practice mode?

I wanted to ask if there is something like a solo practice mode or something along those lines?

Time trial in Arcade section might be what you are looking for.

There is no Free Run or Practice mode like in GT5/GT6, but as has already been mentioned there is a Time Trial mode in Arcade. That said, it does suffice for hot lapping or just driving for pleasure.

However, there are no settings that you can alter, & track reset penalties are forced on as well as ghosting (bizarrely). That said, it does suffice for hot lapping or just driving for pleasure.

The penalty settings in time trial mode are adjustable. Upper right left corner of screen is where the menu options are and can set if penalties occur or not as well as harshness of the penalties. You can also turn off the freak'n hand of god.

EDIT: It is the upper left corner, not right.

Thanks for all of the help guys, this time trial is exactly what I needed and thanks for all the replies so fast, I thought I would have needed to wait until the next day or something.

Really?? Didn’t know that was possible in time trail... after all that time, you learn something everyday Can’t try right now, does the game remember this setting or does it have to be set every time?

Can run a lobby with 2 people but drive on your own, state that it's solo, run tyres and fuel. Can't race in it though (2 people required).
